I purchased a 13' Gheenoe for $400, a trailer for $200 and was given a 7.5 hp motor. Love the boat!

I know you're having a blast, I used to camp the rivers of north Florida a week at a time using a light weight 12' aluminum Jon boat with a 7hp mercury me and that little rig have been to places that aren't on any maps, I discovered a few new springs and mark them on a map. Those were to me the adventure of a lifetime. Keep on keeping on,and hammer down. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞

If you’ve been using one that long, is that 412lb capacity real? If you go just 20 or so lbs over are you in trouble? Just thinking of getting one and if I catch a few catfish or what ever is it gonna mess me up if it’s myself and a friend.

Awesome trip! That's a perfect little Gheenoe for spring hopping and exploring back waters in our area. Ive been using a small clip on rechargeable fan in my hammock this summer. I clip it to my ridge line and it works miracles in my netted hammock.

That looked like fun trip !! I looked at gheenoes but can start to get pricey ! While your swimming in that water I was like hmmm now not good time to tell you about the diver who just got bit but got lucky and got gator to let go ! But still messed him up pretty bad ! Amazing footage ! I’m gonna try to come to rockadock this year ! Make one of those hats and I’ll buy it I’m gonna go get one of those things hahaha I thought you maybe got it off the wish app,l Have fun, loving this stuff

Fun for sure! Yea, I guess they can be considered pricey. But compared to other skiffs they are pretty darn affordable. Gators were certainly on my mind to be honest. Glad I didn't see one. I'll see what I can do about the hats and hope to see you at RockaDock!!!!!

Fun adventure! I did buy some Earth Runners a while ago, having liked yours a lot, but they just didn't work the shape of my foot. I do have, however, the same hat you wear thanks to one of your video links and love it! I wear it for most of my own outdoor adventures. (Not the big crazy umbrella hat 🙃). So sad to see that gloppy green algae in our springs.

Fun for sure! Aw really??? Sometimes you have to adjust the straps to get them to fit just right. It can be a process but it really can make a big difference. I'd encourage your to try again really. Oh yea, those hats are the best I've found, glad you like them. I'm not a fan of the algae either....

I have a Gheenoe w/ 9.9 Yammy on it and mine has a center console and steering wheel ,, I agree that i need a jackplate on my Gheenoe too it would def run alot shallower if i could raise the motor up ,,,
