A Gheenoe is a canoe like micro skiff, this one is only 13' with a 9.9hp outboard. Plenty enough for solo camping and exploring small creeks and springs. Even if the weather does look a little nasty as you head out! #gheenoe #customgheenoe #cressigear #floridasprings #solocamping #hammockcamping

I know you're having a blast, I used to camp the rivers of north Florida a week at a time using a light weight 12' aluminum Jon boat with a 7hp mercury me and that little rig have been to places that aren't on any maps, I discovered a few new springs and mark them on a map. Those were to me the adventure of a lifetime. Keep on keeping on,and hammer down. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞

While your swimming in that water I was like hmmm now not good time to tell you about the diver who just got bit but got lucky and got gator to let go ! But still messed him up pretty bad ! Amazing footage ! I’m gonna try to come to rockadock this year ! I do have, however, the same hat you wear thanks to one of your video links and love it! I wear it for most of my own outdoor adventures. (Not the big crazy umbrella hat 🙃). So sad to see that gloppy green algae in our springs.

Many years ago I came up with a way to camp in my Gheenoe. A TentCot sets up perfectly in my 15'9 Gheenoe. No need for trees. Way back when there was a talk forum called Custom Gheenoe and I once started a thread titled "My Gheenoe Houseboat" where I posted a picture of the TentCot pitched inside the Gheenoe. I haven't visited that site in many years. If it's still up, I'll try to provide a link.
