Jill, I watched you on the show while I was growing up, and well into my adulthood. Seeing all of you playing in the creek, and seeing how truly comfortable and happy you were with yourself, was inspiring. I’m so happy for you, glad that you found your way, and thankful that you let us see a glimpse of that happiness with your sweet little family. ❤️ I wish you, derick, your boys (and Fenna!) nothing but the best. You deserve it.

I'm so happy to see you enjoying yourselves camping. Jill, with your youtube channel growing don't be afraid to request a rv rental sponsorship offer. Quick tip for coolers is freeze a few milk jugs prior to going and it keeps things really cold and we always bring frozen meat so it lasts longer except for the first days meal

I never camped growing up. The few times I camped as an adult were fine but I didn't have the right equipment to make it enjoyable and to make it so I'd want to do it again. When I had kids and they wanted to group camp with friends is when I figured it out. Decent tent, good sleeping bags, and a Coleman camp stove! Ya gotta have coffee! I don't have fancy or expensive equipment but I have what we need for a comfortable experience. It fits in 3 Rubbermaid totes and I can pack us in a couple hours. We have rooftop storage for the tent and chairs. This past year we added an air mattress...only way my husband will go! Lol. 63 and still camping! Oh, my favorite place to camp is the ocean...I sleep so good.

Oh. My. Word. Sam’s precious sweet and innocent voice . Melts my heart Jill! I feel like Sam is your mini, and Israel is Derick’s mini.. not sure if y’all get that in Arkansas not:):) *****Who kept Fenna for you guys .. sorry if you said in the first video I must’ve missed that Derick is on point about vacation with children your kids ages… you need to be super flexible and that’s okay. I think at this age it is so important for kids to explore and learn as much as they can, running all of that energy off too so they sleep very well:) :)

Part two looks so fun! What are some of your ways to get ticks off? They never use to be so bad in Nova Scotia but in the last few years they have been nuts! I have always just spun them counter clockwise, I'm always looking for better ways from people who are more used to them living in a warmer part of the earth. Wild Kratts is such a great show!! I remember when it was called Zoboomafoo. The Kratt brothers are so cool!

Inexpensive shower option...2 metal washtubs, an umbrella, and a Dollar Store Shower curtain. Fill one tub with water and heat it on the fire. Open the umbrella and pop holes into it. Put empty tub under a tree, hang the umbrella from the tree, hang the shower curtain from the umbrella. Use a pitcher or bucket to pour water into upside down umbrella, get wet soap up, more water to rinse off. Plastic to step on after shower is helpful....

The biggest difference between your parenting style and Ben & Jessa's is that you consistently ignore your kids' attempts at asking questions or having a conversation with you, while Ben and Jessa answer their childrens' questions and engage them in conversation. You largely ignored them except to correct them on your family date night also.
