yup you read that title right, we camped out for 14 hours to secure a copy of the folklore long pond studio sessions exclusive record store day vinyl!! 🤍📀🪩
record store day happens once a year where artists send exclusive vinyl releases to local record store all over the world to encourage people to support their local stores & this year was our first time participating :) we weren’t sure when people start lining up so we got there suuuuper early haha. we were after taylor swift folklore long pond studio sessions, the super limited 1975 album & a heart-shaped record by Laufey❤️ so we knew we had to be one of the first in line, thus began our 14 hour journey to opening at 8am LOL

I learned that a record store in Switzerland was celebrating RSD. My husband called them and the owner said they had 2, then asked if we wanted to reserve one. We drove one hour, and there she was. What a beautiful baby! The other one was still there, though. Crazy.

I feel helllaa guilty that I walked into Newbury comics in Massachusetts and bought a folklore long pond vinyl at like 4 pm on record store day 😬 I would’ve stayed up all night or gotten up early but I couldn’t i had work so I prayed and got very very lucky

Me and my sister just stood for 2 and a half hours in the cold (my feet were numb for 30 more minutes even when we got back to the car, thats how cold it was) and we got the last copy at that location!!! but later we found out no other record store in our city had a line other than the one we went to so we regretted it.

I didn’t know that Taylor was coming out with a record on record day until it was late in the day so my mom and I called like every record store close by and the only one that had it was kinda far away, but we got in the car and drove to get it lol. We ended up getting there like a few minutes before they closed and we didn’t get home until pretty late, however it was all worth it!
