That’s a sawfish! They are very endangered and so cool you were able to see one! They aren’t horribly predacious, and aren’t usually too aggressive, and actually it’s bill is used for mostly if not entirely solely defense. It filter feeds or will eat small fish opportunistically. The sharp parts on its bill are actually modified scales! Not teeth. Pretty neat! Beautiful catch

My thoughts exactly when he caught it. They're critically endangered, he will more then likely never catch another one. Im pretty sure theres also a number you call when you catch one and get measurements so they can put it on their system to monitor how many still exist. Insane catch

Cracker clips as always mate. Here's a tip for your boat motor when towing on full blown dusty roads. Tape up the water intake, it'll stop all that dust getting into the water intake and will prolong the life of your engine and save the overheating that can occur because of it.

We used to order Australian Barramundi at a restaurant I was Sous Chef at. It's one of the best fish I've ever eaten. Very dense before it's cooked and then just flakes away after cooked. Super amazing. 👌
