EAT WHAT YOU CATCH - Shark vs Bow n Arrow was a super fun one to film. I set out on a solo mission with no food to see if could catch myself something to eat.
Turns out it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but we got the job done with a giant crab and shark on the bow n arrow! ENJOY.

I know you like shooting regular target arrows. I've shot bows for 11 years and trad recurves for 7, attach a bow reel to your bow. Doing this with a dedicated bowfishing arrow saves your more expensive carbon target arrows and they use an arrowhead that can puncture harder fish bodies much better. I recommend the ASL Bowfishing reel setup, it'll screw into your bowquiver mount. Those are the best on the market. What you do works, but a bowreel would help make it a bit easier and save your cool carbons. Awesome video mate, love watching your channel!!

Dude, finally!! I've been checking youtube for a new video every single day and here we are. We just missed the cleaning-cutting of the shark, would be nice to watch as sharks are anatomically different. As an American who has tried vegimite, I am actually curious as to what that sauce tasted like. Vegimite wasn't good to me, but it is definitely an acquired taste like beer or coffee, and I could learn to like it.

Most people who don't know vegemite spread it like other types of spreads. You can't do that. You have to be sparse with it. It's gods food. Once you acquire the taste you will realize that you're life has only just truly begun. I would love to see you try a challenge surviving in the USA. 1 week, all fresh water lakes and rivers, non-costal state. See how you would do in like Arkansas or Wyoming or Minnesota or Utah or Vermont. Just because you wouldn't know the plant life, wildlife or temperature averages as well...and especially for a survival challenge....it would be fun to see.

A huge part of survival is having that knowledge of local flora and fauna, though. How to catch the local fish, what local plants, animals, and fungi are safe to try and eat, and which might kill you, how to find dry wood and tinder (especially in the NW!), how to survive in places where it gets cold enough to kill you at night, etc etc etc. Of course, he could do what the survival show hosts on TV do, and study all of that before he ever gets there. But that would kind of ruin the challenge, right?
