You need to boil up water under the glass bottle to avoid breaking and tilt it so steam does not have to travel so far. The recipient bottle needs to be placed in wet sand to cool steam. By doing this you will speed up the process and get more fresh water

To improve upon the water distillation: Take another bottle (you got plenty of them), fill it with salt water (you got plenty of that too), and pour this water into the sand surrounding the collection vessel. This will cool down this vessel and the contained steam much better than the air alone. Even when the cooling water gets hot, it will evaporate and thus take a lot of heat away. If you want to increase your yield even further, just regularly pour more salt water, e.g. if the sand dries. You could also bury the collecting bottle a little deeper to give it more surface area for this water cooling. Essentially, this simple trick will result in a higher productivity of fresh/distilled water.

Mate, these videos are picking me up. I grew up around Copacabana beach ( NSW Central Coast), I remember leaving these areas with a few friends and going into the National parks on the coast and doing these short survival treks! Remember eating shell meat - Pippis off the rocks! Also spent a bit of time on Torres Straits Islands. Here I am in built up London, missing the Asia Pacific/Oceania big time!

Using a double boiler system like a can filled with water and a little sand with bottle of salt water set inside will help the glass from not breaking. It's getting to hot directly on the fire. Finding a plastic tube like hose stuck into bottle end works well. Very interesting video's. I did alot of this outdoor camping/ survival coming up with different ideas on the fly! Good job! No need to crack open the coconut.. you can easily drill the eyes of the coconut and prevent wastage..u can grind the flesh of coconut and use it as a moisturizer.. once the coconut catches fire they burn really good as it has oil.. just wanted to give a few tips.. love ur videos brother

I give the dude massive props for doing what he does,sick video, but there's so much more food he could've crafted from his surroundings.. could've made coconut cream for the fish which he could've wrapped in the papaya leaves and steamed as parcels on the fire. Finely sliced papaya leaves, cooked em in sea water, then drain em, to eat em,(already salted)...made a conch salad with the papaya and conch,bit've coconut cream and sea salt. Someone spotted in one of these videos that they were using concrete slabs that locked perfectly machine cut and that they were not actually that deep in the jumgle but just shortly from their villages they live in. Though some have some realism, a majority of these channels from south east Asia are fake and from the same group of poeple. In some videos you can see the vehicle tread marks in othe videos, parts of the wall they digging clearly show smooth spade marks while he is using a stick. BTW to get the machinese there you drive them to the dig site t. You don't see them because they are off camera. Sharp a strick and husk your coconut...one the eyes coconut has a soft cover you can curve out with the tip of your knife, there no need to break it in the middle to drink it's water...also you can cut or cycle at the bottom with your knife or a sharp rock to make a hole to drink...so you don't spilt the precious water.

I stayed a week on an island off the coast of Florida lol I remember digging a long trench from the coast going inward of the island. Any creature i found(small crab, a caterpillar of sort and an old dead baby bird) i took and mashed all together and made a slurry that i portioned and scattered around the trench as bate. The amount of fish and crabs that came into the trench was NON STOP! Me and my buddies never ran outta food!!! All the guts and parts of our leftovers just went to more bate and we kept repeating the process 😊 Fun times
