A wee trip in our beautiful BC province to test the truck and camper combo. We had sunny 🌞 skies rain ☔️ hail and even snow ❄️ but we had a fabulous time. Now back to rain and slugs 🤣 but that’s another video

Hi Ali I have just returned from holiday in Japan Mount Fuji was great.i loved the scenery in your video.On my return the rattlesnake beans you sent me have gone crazy putting on growth,I have planted them out ,looking forward to the harvest now 👍👍🇯🇵🇬🇧

It was a lovely trip and our inaugural one with this camper so it was good to test it all out. Weather of course got insanely hot 🥵 as soon as we got home 🤭🤭 but now we are ask g for some rain 🙏🙏

It’s a great and hmm 🤔 cheap way to travel. It is too hot in the “interior” now to go camping it’s up to 40+ right now. So we will go again come mid Sept as kids are back in school so quieter in the campsites 😂 and it’s half price to camp. Have a fab day Mal 👍

Looks like you were near the Shuswaps. It has enough altitude to bring on any weather. What I found out was this province is actually larger than the UK and Ireland combined, with more room to go. Amazing. We're tough, a bit of snow, meh. 😂

Yes Lac Le Juene it was fabulous and one of our favourite places to go. We were quite glad we over packed quilts 😂. Yep we are good with snow it’s the heat I can’t handle 🤦‍♀️

You’re so right it is quite humbling to drive past the homes of these people who had dreams and memories 😢 and see nothing but carnage. But luckily people are resilient they come back stronger hopefully 🙏. The government is a bit slow but very good at helping them rebuild. On a lighter note we had a lovely time even with odd weather switches 🤦‍♀️. Good to be home and getting back to watering and tending the garden. Hope you are all well Barry and thanks for always being there 👍👍

I had a video to post previously but it kept crashing 🤦‍♀️. I’m sorry I worried you and I’ll always try to pop something in if I have issues again 🥰. I got very cold from a couple of days but we had a furnace and lots of blankets in the camper 🤣, spoiled rotten aren’t I 🤣

No was just that i hadn't seen you in the comments sections as i normally do and i know there have been a lot of viruses going about. Just glad to see all is well and you were having fun! Have you heard of "Glamping" before? It's a bit like camping but posh in caravans, etc Don't blame you for the extra blankets! Best to pack them in this crappy weather we are all having! Did you have your doggo in the bed as a hot water bottle? Our late fur daughter always loved to warm up the bed before our child arrived and it was too noisy for her! Instead of paws out, we now get starfish on tv nights and when they creep in during the night. I am a light sleeper/meerkat/insomniac, so yes, that is fun and games! lol Looking good, weather here next 2 weeks here in London, UK. Any good fortune on the horizon for you there? Summer solstice here today. Did you here what the protestors did to Stone Henge?! Absolutely disgraceful! That after what others did to the tree in Sycamore Gap! They claimed it was dyed orange custard powder but there is a lot of rare lychen and such growing on the site. They said it will wash off with the rain but finally we are going to be free from that in the next two weeks but feel for the people having to clean it up. I remember as a kid touching the stones but it was then closed off with ropes. Great to hear all is well and take care!

Big,wide open space. Lovely. The weather is pretty bad here in the UK too. Still wearing thick jumpers and coats . We will stay five days in Vancouver in September so we are very excited for that. It has finally gotten sunny today and will be good for the rest of the week. I still have long pants and sleeves plus 3 quilts on the bed 🤦‍♀️. Hopefully Sept will be lovely it normally is 🤞. How is the moving going have you finished up with all the sales etc. We had a great time despite the weather. I hope Nigel is well I know his treatment has or is ending soon, but you must look after you too 🥰. Take care and hope to hear from you soon

@@myrustygarden Nigel has finished his treatment and still feeling a bit tired but getting stronger everyday. We are waiting for the lawyers to sort out the last of the queries on our purchase so a bit in the limbo. My house is going on a market this weekend. It is a very strange year for us but it will be worthwhile. We still planted the allotment but did it half heartedly. Loved the scenery on your trip. Keep well and take care. Malgosia and Nigel xx
