What a beautifully captured snapshot of wonderful memories, Jesse. Sadly amazing how many people are blasé to leaving unattended fires and rubbish for someone else to clean up; infuriating. We too have that problem.

@@mattj2171 legit. It doesn’t take much to burn down 100 hectares of forest, even if it looks like there’s nothing to burn directly around the fire pit.

Camping is a great family tradition Jes. Thanks for sharing the trip, I really enjoyed watching! Unfortunately there are many that don’t appreciate it like you and just leave a mess.

@@markusedma I do love getting in the forest time with the girls. And the bright thing about the bellends leaving crap around is that it helps me encourage my girls to be better than that.

Hard to believe people left leaving that fire still burning. You guys had to put so much water on that to put it out too. Looks like the girls had a great time!!

The heat still coming up from the ground, could mean that the roots under ground are on fire. This is how some fires spread, they burn under ground - up through the tree roots or other flammable material under ground. And spread to the trees in that are in close proximity. Sometimes these are known as hotspots, and thefire department would dig down in these areas, to try and help the water to get down to where the fire is still burning underground. This is why it is critical to put the fire out properly before leaving the area. Sometimes it just a lack of knowledge, and other times people are just ignorant, lazy, brain dead or a multitude of them all. Yawl may have just prevented a forest fire! Well done.

"I have to vent." Way to teach ethics, the kids need to learn this. Hopefully, if you at least reach your kids, if not the clowns that left the smoldering campfire, the place will be better for future gens.

Awesome camping trip video! Everything is so lush and green there where you guys are camping. We are currently in a drought and under a no burn order, plus it's too hot for camping right now. Thanks for sharing!! ⛺️

Deciduous trees typically shed their foliage annually. Evergreen trees do not. Trees with needle-like foliage are coniferous or gymnosperms. There are conifers that are not evergreen (Larch / Tamarack, for example). There are trees with broad leaves that are evergreen (magnolia, for example). A more accurate term for broad-leaved trees is angiosperms.
