Hi, I just wonder if you're casting too wide a net with your definition of freedom. If you're truly free, there are no restrictions. If you reject God, you're not necessarily imprisoned within yourself. You might not even be selfish or careless of others. You might be, simply, free. To love God is a wonderful thing, but to obey his (God's and Jesus's) edicts is to not be free at all. Christians are commanded to do certain things and to have a certain mind-set. Jesus did not say, for example, "Drink the blood and eat the flesh, if you want to." Never "Forgive when it suits you." He was absolutely unequivocal. You must do this and that, or you won't enter the Kingdom. "You shall not have life within you." Wow. Perhaps the boldest statement ever made. So, yes, we all have the freedom to make that choice. Having made it, and sticking to it, is a matter of submission to God's will. That is not freedom. Nor is it bondage, I must say. Obeying God's will makes one a nicer person, quite frankly. I don't think freedom necessarily has to lead to something greater. Can't it just be freedom? Perhaps we're discussing two sides of the same coin. I'll take heads. No, TAILS! Oh, it fell down the drain. Oh, well... 'render unto Caesar' and all that. These Roman drains are great.

What a crazy picture of GOD and character you have. Your argument makes no sense
