Campout in the Night Cat Cot/Tent | Strange Behaviors at the other site | Light Rain

Welcome back friends and thank you for checking out today’s video.
Some of you may know I recently acquired the Night Cat Cot/Tent and tonight I’m camping out in it. Is it tippy if I roll over, is it comfortable? Will it sink into the ground and did it leak in the light rain? We will find out together.
And what is going on at the other camp site? To me, it was odd behavior. Coming into camp like you’re hiding out, parking directly in front, almost ON your tent door, your camp views are your car door? I don’t know, it was just strange camp behavior from my point of view.

@ExplorewithmeMarloC If you ever get up into the Western MA. area, some cool places to camp are 1- Lake Tulley in Royalston MA.. The only kind of cuckah thing is the road going up there where it's not the most maintained & does have some potholes. Before you get there, in Erving MA. is Erving State Forest by Laurel Lake which is cool to kayak on. If you get a spot more on the crest of the hill, be careful of the frost heave that looks like it separates the road!!! Not sure if you like heavier music, but RPMfest during Labor Day weekend has both car camping & / or Tent / some hammock camping & has private showers with hot water ( I helped build these!) but no way to really adjust the water temp so be careful! A bit up the road from Lake Tulley is Lake Denison & it looks nice except one end of the lake looks all swampy with lily.pads & stuff. Onto other wild camping things you just might enjoy but no idea if you watch? 1- Camping With Steve - he does crazy stealth camping & other things - on KZbin under that name. 2- for more UK stuff, Simon; A Bloke In The Woods is cool & he semi resembles John Cleese from old Monty Python 3- for stuff out & around Sweden & that area which you may like due to the scenery is Swed woods. He looks like somebody I know in a metal band & my running joke with him is how he ends up as a guide to any bands that go out in the woods for music videos & get lost! 4- Greg Ovens Rocky Mountain Bushcraft is good content as well sometimes Anyway, I really like the content so far & already subbed! I have stuff on YT as well although mine is more about the events I may work at or just enjoy going to buy, I have other things there as well.

Hey Marlo! Happy Monday! I really love it when the temperature is about like this! Low 80's now and upper 50's to lower 60's at night. My favorite camping spot is in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. I used to camp there years ago, and it's about time to return! Well, I see you've about won the battle with the chair! The way you set it down said, "Victory!" 😆 The more I see of the Night Cat cot and tent the more I like it. Being that comfortable and having options on the way it's set up makes it well worth the investment. I think it'll pass a rain test just fine. Whoever designed it sure had a great idea! I know I've said this before more than once, but I really like the sounds of nature in your videos. I really like the breaks you put in your videos with just the natural sounds. It's very relaxing and I never grow tired of it. That pond is beautiful! Being spring fed, I'll bet that is some really good water! Water that clean is hard to find now. How your neighbors parked was indeed really strange. The first thing I thought of was somebody was afraid to be out there. If they're that afraid, they don't need to be camping. I also had another thought that comes from my suspicious nature. I hope it wasn't a couple of fugitives trying to make it more difficult for law enforcement to approach if they were found. I know that sounds extreme and it's most likely not the case. Whatever the reason, it was strange to say the least and I'm glad you stayed safe. Once again, a very relaxing time camping and watching the sun go down over a beautiful pond. Thank you for sharing, and I'll see you next time sweet friend! 🏕🔥☕👊👍👍

@@AmericanExplorer happy Thursday. Lol.. dang.. these days are flying by lately. They finally made a chair i dont have to fight with to put together like origami, or attach little balls on the feet so it doesn’t sink. The Chattahoochee National forest seems like a fantastic place to camp. Large forested and natural area ☺️ The sights and sounds of nature are amazing.. we all need more of it in our lives. We’ve been in a very dry and warm weather spell lately and it’s soooo refreshing. This time of year screams for us to all get out there before the cold and snow. @@ExplorewithmeMarloC Happy Sunday! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I have had some unexpected things come up lately and am just now catching up. "Put together like origami." Lol! I got tickled at that one! 😆Glad they finally made a chair without so much personality! The Chattahoochee National Forest is a great place to camp, especially when you want to get away from the crowds. I used to camp there often years ago and am looking forward to returning this fall. That is when it ultimately cools off. We're back to the humid 90's here for the foreseeable future. Not a surprise though. Septembers are usually like that here. Hot, then a cool snap and then hot again. I hope you're having a great day today sweet friend! I'll holla atcha again after watching your latest video! 😊

hi marlo. i agree with the off behavior of those other people. i would want a nice scenery and not looking at my car door. i can see why you like that camping area, it's beautiful. i bet the fall colors would be something to see there. im glad the tent did well for you and tht it was comfortable.i like that you used your fire starters, it was good to see. i recognice the breakfast club inserts also. nice addition. im looking forward to your next camping trip. stay safe dear.

Looks like u had a great time! I envy u how u can do these campouts alone. I would be afraid even though I would be well armed lol What kinda shady things were being had, do u suppose, by those 2 men? LOL I can imagine! Glad u got some sleep with shady neighbors near u! @@kimglass4851 thank you my friend. I enjoy solo camping a lot. It was weird seeing how they parked almost on their tent door. They could open the car door and tunnel into the tent, lol… it was just odd.. not “camping” behavior.. most people would want scenery, not the door of your vehicle. It was a great camp, very comfortable and I got my testing on some things. Seems like your temps are about the same as here. I appreciate you checking this out and hope your doing well ☺️💚🤣

Happy Sunday Marlo.. the only thing I dislike about fall is going to work when it’s dark and getting home when it’s dark.. my fall plans are driving to Vermont every other weekend helping my parents clean the yard , doing the firewood and getting them ready for winter.. this year though I’m also looking for a house by them so I don’t have to worry .. Nice tent thingy …cots are the best even just a foam mat on top is great. Over twenty years Army experience on them with everything from the back of a Duce to Hummer with a bug net and poncho Middle of winter in Germany or a summer in Georgia. If backpacking turns out to not be your thing you know you like car camps …Have fun stay safe.

Good video. Say whatever, it's a nice camping spot! I have that same cup. Don't know if yours does, but if you slide it out of the sleeve, mine has measuring marks. I also have a French press cup made by them.
