One of the best things you can do to make your videos and audios sound more professional is to edit out unwanted sounds such as background noise, Ums, Ahs, breathing inhales and other noise reduction techniques.

So far I've been ripple deleting my breathing and lip smacking, but your video has inspired me to try out silencing the relevant sections. A little tip: drag the top of the track up to enlarge it. When the waveform is bigger you can see the minor distortions visually. I have to admit, it is really annoying to have to do this by hand. I wonder if anybody trained a neural net to automate this? It feels that in the era of Stable Diffusion, something like that should exist.

Thanks for the tip! There is a program called Descript that will remove the ums and ahs, but it's just another thing to have to export and use, then reimport into Camtasia. I think Camtasia should license these tools and include them in the software. www.descript.com/ Adobe also has a free tool that does an amazing job at background noise removal and voice enhancement: podcast.adobe.com/enhance
