Scoring:
-Pokemon Starts with a score of 100 points.
-Minus 0.1 points per reset (10 resets = 1 point)
-Minus 0.25 points per optional battle (4 optional battles = 1 point)
-Minus 1 point per TM (Excluding Broken TMs)
-Minus 10 points per Broken TM (Double Team, Substitute, Mimic, Rest, Bide, Toxic)

Rules:
1. 0 DVs (Worst Possible Stats).
2. No Items in Battle.
3. No Stat Boosting Vitamins (HP Up, Carbos, Iron, Calcium, Protein).
4. No other Pokemon in battle (HM Mules allowed outside of battle).
5. Timer STARTS when I select New Game, and ENDS when the Champion is defeated.
6. Required Battles are the battles that cannot be avoided without glitches
7. No wild battles, except to catch HM pokemon.

Yeah, I don't allow Self Destruct and Explosion in solo challenges because it kind of violates the "solo" aspect since you can't usually win a tie. However, we might do a self destruct challenge again in Gen 2 like I did in Gen 1.

The overlay is calculating experience needed for level 101 lol. We could make it to say max level reached. If you're training a level 100 Pokemon for stat exp, do the box trick.

Yeah, But was still kind of underpowered in Gen 2 unless you got Fury Cutter, and even then you need time to setup. I'm low key convinced Pineco was originally supposed to be grass type

Pre-watch: How bad could it be? It's Pineco. It's going to be BAD. It would be bad at max DVs. I'm not sure this one even beats Red. No status options, it's level-up movepool is atrocious, it basically is going to desperately hope for Defense Curl + Rollout and it's not going to survive long enough to even get that off most of the time. Post-watch: This entire run is just one long advertisement for Rollout, because this Pokémon has ZERO shot without it. It was a pretty miserable run overall, but Rollout at least salvaged the win in the end. It did manage to exceed my expectations and beat Red, albeit requiring level 100 to do so. But man, I think we need some more baselines for GOOD Pokémon for this challenge, because so far we've mostly been seeing the worst of the worst, apart from top deer Stantler.

Hey Teo, not sure if you know about this but there is a glitch in Gen 2 where Pryce’s badge boost is not applied to your Special Defense stat unless your Special Attack stat is within a certain range: glitchcity.wiki/wiki/Special_Defense_badge_boost_glitch

i found quick claw not very relay able . honestly was take me sometimes 10 resets get quick claw to activate. soo i would say asking for 3 quickclaws in a row for me personally would be very un reasonable for the next episode minimum battle . i feel like some Pokemon are going fail or at least struggle beat that rival never mind beating Morty . any Pokemon that's slower than that haunter going have hard time . as you know his haunter stuck using spite (most of the time)

mate, why do you save so much? I've seen you saving twice in the same tile without moving or taking any other action, and that happens many, many times throughout the video.

Yeah it's a bad habit mostly born out of forgetting if I already saved and getting paranoid. Since I'm doing the commentary live, there are times where I honestly was too busy talking to remember...
