I wonder if using the press to make a record out of a layer or two of Lego with a mother stamper for an album would make something playable. It probably wouldn't sound very good, though, and would likely wreck the stylus' needle. I don't know why, but that's what came to mind watching this.

The bigger area of Lego and/or the metal plate you use, the smaller the pressure - as P = F/a, pressure equals force divided by area.
@kingcodebra3 күн бұрын
I can't remember where I heard or read it, but Lego bricks can supposedly support more weight than a concrete counter part. The brick can deform some but the concrete being harder would make it shatter.
@dimitar4y2 күн бұрын
The Brooklyn Bridge weights 14,680 tons This means that 49 of these lego piles can hold up the entire brooklyn bridge :DDD

I wonder if the press would have been that successful if the metal plate had been as large as the area of the top of the legos. That much extra surface area might well have been enough to stop it.

LOL! I love the "Unit of Measurement" joke! Us Americans use random units of measurement because nobody wants to agree on a standard unit of measure except for the things we idolize. How many Bald Eagles does Hanna weigh? Probably 10-11 Bald Eagles, because the average woman weighs about 110-140 lbs, and a bald eagle weighs between 7-14, so we say 10 Bald Eagles. Now if we want to get silly with this, it would only take about 30 Bald Eagles to lift Hanna and fly her around because an average Bald Eagle can carry 3-4 lbs. It would take as many as 600 ravens to carry a single Finnish Hanna. So now we must ask the next question - How many Bald Eagles equals a Hydraulic Press Channel Larry?
