The reason the game even gives you the option of having a player being born "At Sea" is because Ed Porray, a guy who only took 4 plate appearances for the Buffalo Buffeds in the short lived Federal League, was born in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, too far from any country's shore to claim. His birth certificate has his birth location simply as At Sea.

Even if you took the highest number 323 and took 2335 and divided it, that is 7.2 MLB seasons for you to hit a single home run. You’re telling me through 7 seasons you won’t have a lick of improvement in your hitting? If you had an average of 215 at bats a season you’re looking at 10 years worth of at bats in the MLB. I’m almost certain in 10 years of being in the best baseball league on the planet you will have ONE home run. The math literally proves that.

bill holbert isn't even the worst home run hitter of all time: mike mcgreary and dave eggler both hold more at bats (2481 and 2544 respectively) than holbert, and neither of those men have any career home runs either. (although their careers began in 1871 before the creation of the NL so i see why he picked Holbert)
