We wanted to see if we can complete the Cleghorn trail with a 2WD Tacoma and a stock Crosstrek. It's definitely more ruttted, but we managed to do it without any major issue. Thanks for supporting the channel!

I did that trail 3 months ago in a 2WD 3rd gen 4Runner I was trying to see the rutted area where you were at to see if it was where I couldn’t go any further and had to turn back, however I did it at night solo way more scary lol

@@iRan2550Got the aussie locker. Running a 3in rough country lift(new coils, add a leafs, and 4 new shocks) with an additional 2in rough country lift shackles in the back. And some 29.5in cooper at3's, cheap but effective 🤣.

Glad to see 4runner makin it look easy. Just picked up a 2021 TRD pro. Gonna hit up a Cleghorn this week, my only problem is I don’t know any people who Offroad guess I need to join a group

The TRD Pro will make this trail no problem...maybe some rock sliders will help for extra protection. Yea theres a lot of off roading group that does runs all the time.

I keep hearing that even the fire road is deeply rutted. Really want to try this out tho. Would be my first time off-road. Awesome video!

Yea, definitely more rutted than before, but it's doable with the right line. Im sure it's fine if you take your time, a lot of people there in case you do get stuck.

Good stuff as always! It’s fun to see what you can do in all these vehicles. Anyone can I off road in a Jeep Rubicon on 34s. It takes more skill in a lesser vehicle. Tell your Crosstrek friend to get some AT tires and it will change his life!

Made most of these off shoots with my 4x2 Tacoma but it’s the off road version so it has the rear locker . Even the one the black Tacoma went up . Only one I didn’t try was the one I think they call the chute

Yooooo where was that ramen place? Also just took my cousin and his crosstrek there on March 28th, couldn’t make it passed a washed out obstacle about a half mile passed the fork in the road... but a lifted Impreza with a driver that was not worried about body damage sent it up there but said he got hung up a little further down the fire road, it was his first time so I don’t he knew what I meant by noob hill but good times 👍🏼 thanks for the video

Seems like the trail have had some washed out ruts from the recent rain, I might have to go see it again haha.

I have stock everything 2wd Tacoma SR5…think I can do trail…no offshoots.

I think so...however this past rain season might affect the trail. Not sure if the ruts are bigger now?

I got a 2019 2WD F150, 6” lift, 35s and an ELD. Should be able to make it yeah?

I think so, certain section might be a bit narrow for that size truck but overall there's a lot of room for 2 vehicles to go by.

@@Michael_Tran ok thanks for that info. I was really appreciative to see your videos and a lot of content for these trails nearby. I live in victorville, my truck is my daily so I’m not trying to destroy it or anything by doing crazy rock crawling like idk what it’s called 🤔 turkey claw or whatever, and I knew that when purchasing my vehicle. That’s why I went only 2WD. Prior to the F150 I had an 07 Nissan Frontier 2WD 4 cylinder and a 5 speed. It got me everywhere I ever needed to go so I saw no need for a 4WD. Why pay the premium? I am seeing my current truck is obviously bigger and not as nimble and seems to sink into some of the soft sand more than my frontier which is to be expected. It’s taking a little getting used to with a bigger truck. Anyway, thanks for your video again, you got some cool content and thank you for your reply.

@@jessehughes88 Thank you for the encourage message Jesse...yea man, take that thing out there to explore. It so crazy to me to see so many capable trucks and suv that doesn't ever see dirt road. I understand and know that my 2WD is not able to do as mochas 4x4, but im also willing to push it to see how capable it is. And man, it's super capable especially with just a few mods. I love exploring more than crawling, so this is all I need at the moment. Thanks again for the kind message.

Usually when I need it...the main fire road is easy. The offshoots can be a challenge
