I genuinely want to see this guy go pro, so here are some tips: 1: When taking a wall, make sure to take an angle called a “right hand peek,” where they won’t be able to shoot you back immediately without movement. (For pubs)2: after killing, box up so third-parties don’t have the ability to beam without you being able to react. 3:WATCH THE FOOTSTEPS!!! I can’t stress this enough. If you want to predict a movement, the best way to know is the footsteps! 4: When box-fighting, a technique I see pros use is a fake pickaxe swing. For example, When you are unable to take a safe right-hand peek, you should swing your pickaxe. But before you hit the wall switch to your shotgun so that they will either try to pre-fire you and break their wall, giving you a free shot, Or you can make them edit a window or a top left or right peanut butter, giving you a good jump shot with minimal damage. 🗿

Ngl this series got me feeling inspired! My peak was in Chapter 2 Season 2 (I vividly remember my cleanest W where I hit a 220 headshot while box fighting the last guy) and I’ve only recently got back into Fortnite after playing Brainrot Boxfights and OG on my cousin’s PS5. I used to (and still occasionally) complain about sweats ruining the game, but if a completely new player can grind for two weeks and reach Platinum, then that likely means that I just need to adapt. I’m thinking I might grind the whole battle pass before the next season in February! Btw, I love the chill and laid-back vibes from this series, keep up the great work!

@@rMizery all its doing is rerouting your information through their servers and then to the FN servers which CAN make it faster, but its still an extra step so it could very well be making it slower. there is no "easy fix" for bad internet, there are so many factors that can affect your speeds, and an application aint gonna do that much at the end of the day. i used to have terrible internet and no matter what i did it stayed that way until i upgraded to fibre optic, and have had no problems since.

When you are trying to take someones wall or get in a box never swing your pickaxe twice because the guy inside the box will just edit out right before the second swing and get a free hit. So just swing once, whip out your shotgun and then your pickaxe and swing again and then take the wall. Another tip is to always do protective edits so that you cant get shot after youve edited. Also do counter damage after youve been shot. in real games good players will never stop chasing you if they get good damage on you so before you try to heal always do counter damage so you can heal without the opponent trying to get in your box. Also great video your improving fast and youre very good for only playing for two weeks.

Just as a tip, there is a setting in the Controller tab under QUICK WEAPON which you can turn on instant toggle to select your primary weapon so you don’t have to worry about pulling out the wrong weapon when you need to shotgun someone. Also in the Game tab under COMBAT you can configure preferred item slots to select gun/consumable/etc assignments which could also help

two tips: -you should get in the habit of disengaging after your shotgun shot and building to wait until you can fire it again instead of always going tunnel vision mode with your spray weapon -just drop the grappler in 1v1s. It's both disadvantageous because they get free shots on you and it takes the practice of building to retake high-ground away

i think in general it is hard to gage someones skill based on rank just simply because of how the ranking system works in the game. if you are someone who drops instantly and fight everyone and you get in a high rank you are probably pretty good at the game but you can also climb without fighting too much.
