You usually can't eat the plant replacements on their own, it will always be distinct and a lot of time also not taste too great. but if you use it for its intended purpose with lots of other flavours it can be really good!

Tricking people into eating vegetarian/vegan substitutes is a bad idea cause some of the popular ingredients (like for example soy is in so many things) are also common allergies. In general, you shouldnt lie to people about what's in food

Sorry, I usually don't tell people to become mentally ill. Neither do I wish to become mentally ill. Vegans get sick. More and more vegans are caught eating meat or going back to eating meat because they get sick and nothing helps.. Except going back to meat. Because meat heals.. In fact, an all carnivore diet is way better for you than a strict no-carnivore diet.
