Great vid ... really like your content .. we are experimenting with various budget racers.

i started racing in 1985 .. i learned long ago that the winning driver can win with most any cat out there as long as the vehicle holds together ...

Great video... RC looks good. Those bumps on the chassis for the diffs is bad news for jumping for sure. The issue is the support for this truck. Hobbyking in the past and I believe currently (i haven't bought from them in years now) is they are always on back order on parts support. Not being in the USA (i'm in Canada) i have to order from the international warehouse and it can be frustrating dealing with them. IMO the better budget model is the ZD Racing 1/8 truggy (Pirate) but again part support is online. Anyone complaining about budget cost being high, this is 1/8 model with aluminum and CF parts with brushless motors and 4s power... you are not getting that for under $300 unless you buy used.

I just watched the first minute of your vid and I actually thought you would have some race experience or RC experience in general but why? I mean why are you using Deans for the battery??? Even I as a Basher even use XT90 in my 1/10scale trucks. Aren't those deans a little under-spec for your system??? but nice video though Keep going on
@rcmustsee4376 жыл бұрын
Moritz Adler I used dean's all race season and had 0 issues. Thanks for watching

just because its cheap does not mean its chinese, but if its chinese does not mean its bad you dont have to say its chinese its pretty unessasary unless your saying its bad, you know most of our stuff is made in china

Yup. Even things made in USA are made of parts made in China. People have no understanding that these companies who brand and retail OEM things aren’t actually the manufacturer lol hence almost every Rc toy you find is found again under a different name. Branding retailers have to do huge volumes to have exclusive OEM rights. Some companies do design their own and have ODM production rights until it is modified and cloned and reproduced then you still find copies once again.

Don't be so sensitive, if it is cheap, and made in China, it's ok to call it a cheap Chinese rc

Very time consuming but always fun. Unless your car breaks mid race... that's not fun.

rc mustsee, try Thunder Tiger Bushmaster 8E from Taiwan, it's less than $400 now for very capable 1:8 RTR offroad buggy.

I recently bought Team Energy C8ST -RTR and it is an awesome 1/8th Truggy! I've compared it to the Arrma Talion/Kraton, and the built on the C8ST is better for half the price.

Have someone like Rivkin, Phend, Tessman, Mayfield, run this truggy and take control of one of their rigs to see who’s faster.

To many rocks on that track. That seems like a really decent truggy. Don’t know if I would race it. But I want to find something dirt cheap that I can compete with the higher end comp. I am all about my Tekno. It would be a pisser to beat the pants off guys who spend $1000 for there rig.
