Can a cordless M18 cut 1" steel plate? Milwaukee 2982 8" circular metal saw using Forge 12ah battery

Amazing! Were you able to see the push pressure light from your point of view? Looks like the proper head position is in front of the blade when cutting, so you can see that light.

Yes, I was able to keep the light from coming on for the most part. I can see it well when cutting.

That's incredible that it cut that, wonder how much battery it used?

@johnodonnell2093 I think I had 3/4 when I started, and it was half when I finished... so a 1/4 battery give or take.

@johnodonnell2093 That was my first attempt. I have some more cuts to make, I have a piece of 1.25" that I'm going to wind up trying this on. I haven't tried it with anything but the 12ah Forge battery yet either. I'll probably put the results of that up as well.
