9:48 sounds like most Ducati owners. Good to see the 800 air cooled L twin is still in use. Very underrated motor on the Ducati range.

So basically it's a Monster that's been to the stylist for a wardrobe update. I might as well just throw some 80/20's on my Aprilia Shiver & call it a day. Why is it that RE & Benelli can make a Scrambler that can actually scramble but everyone else just makes a road bike with ADV tyres? I'm sure that there's plenty of people like me who would like to tackle some light off road adventures but dislike the ADV & Dual Sport looks. And there's certainly enough buyers who like the Scrambler aesthetic, with so many manufacturers having at least one in their lineup.

It’s interesting you mention RE and Benelli, the RE Scram, as far as I can think of is the only proper Scrambler on the market because it is based off an adventure bike. The Benelli Leoncino trail although based off their road bike is another one that handles the dirt with ease. If I had the choice of the 3 for a bit of mixed riding it would be the Benelli
@ADingoTookMyDasco6 ай бұрын
@@BikerTorqueTotally agree. I've ridden the Leoncino 500 road version down loose gravel roads & was surprised & impressed how stable it was, even at speed & on road rubber. I'm sure the bigger 19" front wheel & higher ground clearance would make it even better. It'd just be nice if there was a little more choice than just these 2 brands.

Ducati did once published a genuine off-road capable Scrambler namely Scrambler Desert-Sled. It has so far the best scambling settings interms of suspension(200mm travel front & rear). ground clearnce (over 225mm), seating position (860mm seat height and 19/17 inch tyres) ect. And can even rival with Triumph Scrambler 1200XE in this category. Desert-Sled once was sold in Australia for AUD 19200 but it is pity Ducati has discontinued the productions of this sub-model in favor of makign more "city-commuting" and styling based so-called "Scambler"

Shame they stopped making the Desert Sled, but I’m guessing it came down to sales

It’s really an evolution of a Monster with some things cut out. No guards to speak of. lol. I think it’s a gorgeous bike. But it seems to have an identity crisis. Doesn’t go well on dirt. The lack of wheel guards. But since when is a Ducati ever purchased for practicality? Seems like the Lemoncello 800 😂 is a better bike? Maybe when that stalling is fixed. 😂😂😂

@BikerTorque im not so sure. I just tested it recently infact just a few hours ago compared to Trident 660 . In my country this is very expensive, like 4000$ +more than the trident. Also need to mention ktm Duke 790, which i think is much, much more worth and more capable you can even put this kind of semi offroad tires in the duke
