Last week I attended the Ducati Media day at Henry's car barn, I got to ride this Ducati Scrambler Full Bottle as well as the Diavel V4 which you can see in my other video. There's also a lovely cameo from a 66 Ford Mustang in here too!
In this video I discuss what this motorbike is like to ride, how it handles, stopping power, power and acceleration, and is it too small for taller riders?

I’ve been lucky enough to have two track days, one in a Shelby 67 GT500 and the second in a stage two Mustang. I can safely say that the stereos in each car would never be used or surpass the sound of the engine. Bikes are more affordable thankfully.😬👍🏻

It doesn't seem to really have the character you normally get from an air cooled V twin, and it looks a bit plasticy too. I think you'd be better off with a XSR 700 or Z650RS if you want a lightweight retro bike. With the savings you could get an aftermarket exhaust and some suspension upgrades and have a bike that's just as good for less money and save on maintenance.

Apart from the fact that Ducati designers obviously forgot to sketch a mudguard on the front (or the back), I think it's a neat looking package. Especially like the upswept but low exhaust position. No roasted legs here?

Probably the only Ducati most of us can actually afford but still too expensive for what it is. Looks nice, but I think I'd rather go for a fantic caballero if I wanted an Italian scrambler or even a cfmoto 700clx if I want to save a lot of money and have a similar powered bike.

I must suck being a really tall biker as the only bikes you have are big cruisers and adventure or super tourers. Most bikes will look stupid with them on, I saw myself on a Triumph Bobber and I'm only 5"11 and thought "na"... I just looked way too big for it, but on the Bonnie I looked fine.

You think that £11k for a bike like that represents good vfm? Amazing. I've followed your channel because you champion bikes that don't cost the Earth and represent real value. The Scrambler is priced right at the top end of what consumers (suckers) will tolerate. The only vfm it represents is when compared to the utterly stupid R12 9T, BMW. It's not biking, it's emptying old men's wallets

I tried both and if you like to plod and get your back trashed by bumps and potholes (there are too many where I live) get the Triumph, if you like to flick around some corners with a smile on your face then go for the Ducati, I went for the latter however the Icon and it was reduced by 800 euros so not so bad. I changed the bars and got some lower footrests, now it feels pretty spacious for a 175cm tall chap. Enjoy whatever you ride!

I'm not positive but for a bike to be considered L Twin the Cylinders have to be inline with the frame not transverse and the front cylinder has to be almost parallel to the ground lol Not sure who defines what an L Twin is but that is what my research shows Just saying. I prefer Moto Guzzi over Ducati anyway. Does anyone know who Defines what an L Twin is, Who would do that, is there an Italiano Engine governing body or something 😆
