Sooooo....I'm thinking Mary needs to eat the first ear of corn. If she is OK after 30 minutes, then I'd take a bite. 😁 Keep us posted on if this works!

You don’t need a mineral oil treatment? Lol.

Many years ago I had corn growing in my small garden. I found lots of tree frogs crawling around on the corn leaves. I guess there was something that they were after. I never saw any worms on my corn, just the tree frogs. Take care and stay safe.

We have bees, and I was looking for a bee friendly worm remedy for the corn. My husband planted 24 long rows of sweet corn yesterday. I will be trying this. Thank you!

My country is so blessed because we’ve unique types of corn, wheat and barley. Which is resistant to any pests or diseases. 🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪

I’m concerned that spraying the silk could hurt the pollination of the ears of corn 🌽

We didn’t. We’ve just had too many irons in the fire lately!

I think it made a difference. I wasn’t completely worm free, but I think it was worth doing.

I use Bacilus thuringensis (BT, or Thuricide) to control American Corn Ear Worms (Helicoverpa armigera or zea). And I pick them off by hand. I hate them.
