As a fellow Longsword main, I tried to beat Fatalis with a Greatsword once. It took a rough 20 minutes of being constantly thrown around, and nearly losing all my lives, but after couple attempts, once you read those moves right and reach those openings, weapons like Greatsword and Hammer can really pull it off with the satisfactory of big damage.

No matter what build, weapon or playstyle I try, I cannot solo anything on Master rank, ... Have to cheat and that sucks, ...

🤔 Maybe the solo dolo ain’t for you and that’s fine cause they give you that option. I’m sure there is something in this game your good at, but don’t beat yourself up on not soloing zinorger odergaron or negi or devil joh. Cuz those monsters give me trouble but I overcame them with the right mindset. Believe in yourself not to win, but to build yourself back up EVEN STRONGER. (16 years old and typing these eh?)

Id say hammer is easier than longsword because it has the SAME mobility but more dmg. So id say w fatalis weapon youd definitely solo fatalis if you know how to beat em. LS is one of the weakest weapons but adds flare and mobility, imo its bottom tier conpared to most other classes that solo.
