I think lifesteal would make more sense on the set your hero to 15 part. At 15 you are extremely low and could die at any moment and the lifesteal can help with that.

It would seem more legit if art changed a little with every upgrade. You can't see if the card is upgraded without reading it's text.

If the 'Classless Clobberer' would destroy all class minions everywhere, then it should say that on the card. Cards like 'Whirlpool' specifically say "(wherever they are)". The way it's written, it would only destroy the class minions on the board. Edit: Of course It's a bit weird that the ALL is capitalized in this case, because on cards like 'Twisting Nether', or 'Soulstealer' it is not capitalized. On most cards the ALL isn't capitalized. Some examples where it is capitalized for some reason are 'Hellfire' or 'Murloc Warleader' (classic version).

Correct, the capitalized ALL is just to indicate that the effect is symmetrical.

@@mintyking1 Yes, I really don't understand why sometimes it's capitalized and sometimes it isn't. Most examples where it is capitalized come from early Hearthstone, however, then it still doesn't make sense why it isn't capitalized on some classic cards like the already mentioned 'Twisting Nether'. Also modern 'Murloc Warleader' doesn't have an ALL in it's effect anymore, but that's just nitpicking. :)

That priest minion discounting any cards copied from your opponent does not state that also the cards shuffled into your own deck by Benedictus are reduced in cost and yet he does. Hellfire has its 'all' printed capitalised due to the fact back in the day people would less likely have expected it to work that way - later iterations of 'all' no longer needed this due to the players already knowing.

4:20 Razorscale had an ability called Fuse Armor which reduced the armor, attack and movement speed of an enemy by 20%. Equate 20% less movement speed in a game about reducing cards to get them out faster to "can't cost less than 2 mana" and there you go.

100% super duper broken in wild. In standard though? Pretty sure standard's very rarely had enough discard payoff to actually be good as a 'general' thing, and it's not like 'redraw' your hand is good on rate for 3 mana. But it would be a strong discard enabler in the event there was enough support for it.

Very interesting video idea! As someone who's not seen a lot of the new expansion cards (I know the titans and saw your bigger and bigger man priest but that's about it), I actually had fun playing along with this. Some of the cards caught me off-guard, too. Didn't think the Absorbent Parasite, Astral Serpent and Fate Splitter were something Blizzard would print.

I did the same, was alot of fun. I did get jebaited by Wyrdclaw but got most of the others right. Fate Splitter in particular was too much in theme with Odyn to not be an actual card. They were a clear references to the Norns / Moirai. And it's not a particularly OP card or anything as the opponent can control how it does if you don´t kill it yourself.

To me, Wyrdclaw immediately seemed off because of the minion's theme. The art was just a generic-looking moonkin and the name wasn't recognisable, yet they made it a legendary. @@MegaHuntress

19:30 That card destroys every Class minion on the board, from you and your opponent. It dosn't destroy every class minion (wherever they are) mostly because it dosn't says that. Is not really that good. It is fine, but at 6-Mana it would be bad, is like a Brawl that can't destroy Neutral cards and almost every deck plays a bunch of Neutral cards.

Channeled Magic is a really cool card imo. It's very similar to spell mana in LoR, where if you don't want to play anything else this turn you can just play it at the end of your turn and next turn you have an extra however much mana to spend on another spell.

Fate Splitter is clearly referencing The Fates From Greek mythology, they were said to occasionally cut the (golden) thread of fate for some, leading town early (or sometimes not) death. If you want an example, go watch the old Disney Hercules movie. Though it doesn't portray hem properly it does show off what they supposedly did.

ALL is capitalized on Hearthstone cards that will negatively affect your own minions, such as Hellfire dealing 3 damage to ALL minions. So Classless Clobberer destroys all of your class cards an all of your opponent's class cards on the battlefield. The precedent for destroying cards in hands and deck is the phrase "wherever they are."

Here's some cards to try out next time: Stickyfinger Emperor (2/12 Titan Kobold) 10 cost Battlecry: Take control of all opponent's minions. Any that cannot fit on your side are instead shuffled into your deck and keep all enchantments. Ability 1: Steal your opponent's weapon. It keeps all enchantments. Ability 2: Take control of target minion. If you have no room, shuffle it into your deck instead. It keeps all enchantments. Ability 3: Swap hands with your opponent. Midas the Murloc (1/8 Murloc Titan) During deck generation, Gold and Platinum cards no longer count as duplicates of their non gold counterparts*. Immune to damage from minions. Any minion damaged by this minion is turned to gold and have their attack power permanently lowered to zero, but gain Taunt. Start of game: For the rest of the game, all Gold cards do not count as copies of non gold cards and vice versa (For both players) (* This means, anything that affects "all copies" of a card won't affect gold copies if the target isn't gold or vice versa. It also means that effects like Reno Jackson will not count a normal card and a gold version in your deck as "Duplicates" for the purpose of whether their battlecry triggers. It also means you can have a normal, Gold, and Platinum version of a legendary minion in your deck at deck creation, and that you can have two "normal" and two "gold" versions of any card you own in your deck at deck creation.)

I feel like channeled magic would be too scary to print. It kinda does what the shaman festival weapon does, but it basically says spend no mana on turn 10 (could be 11) and get a massive discount on a huge spell next turn. If Ice Block & Pyro were standard, & a Freeze Mage archetype would be competitive… it’d be insane. Now I don’t KNOW, but anything that allows you to cheat mana (especially a lot of it) has game-breaking potential. The 1 mana 5/5 might be almost Corridor Creeper levels of broken. I know it’s 5/5 do nothing, and creeper wouldn’t be AS crazy as it was, that one seems quite strong too. Rarran was unsure of the power level of those cards. I’d say the 5/5 would find a home in Aggro, & that channel magic would be truly broken with support.

Yep. In actual Greek mythology, the 3 sisters of fate measure and pull out threads for people's lives and cut it when it is time for them to die. The entire Titans set is largely inspired by Greek and Norse mythology.

So here is a few things about Meryl Felstorm: 1. Meryl Felstorm is a Mage character, it feels unlikely that he would be in Warlock 2. If this card was real it would have different arts for each version (We saw this with Huntsmaster Altimor)

Totally! I know it’s a 5/5 do nothing; I made that argument for the warlock 5/5 from Titans. But I feel like number of cards in your hand in a face deck would be dropping that on 3 on average. And it can ATTACK unlike the current 2 mana card. Creative idea. I give you folks who create cool custom HS cards a lot of credit for creativity. I’m calling a one (or zero) mana 5/5 in face decks that wanna dump their hand then smORC strong.

I feel like this is a major issue I have with the expansion. So many of the cards just are in the wrong classes. Looking at them in a vacuum there's just no way they belong in the class they're in. Rogue's Voltron legendary is the biggest example of this. There's nothing you can tell me that would show me it's not a Paladin Legendary they accidently put in Rogue by mistake.

Honestly, almost all of these cards were plausible as either real or fake. Sunny's analysis was pretty good, even if his guesses weren't. The only cards that seemed obviously fake were the 1-mana 5/5 because (like many custom cards) it's interesting but doesn't play well, and the murloc whose name wasn't punny enough. I think guessing off of the name and artwork alone would have been the best way to get these right. Blizzard does a great job with their card names.
