Somehow, i cannot believe that Jehovah wants to see people in hell burning constantly Scripture says it is a punishment not a punishing! Hell is real for sure but,burning forever! I just can't grasph .that!

If we, according to what he says, are entirely saved by faith without works, how can you then lose your salvation by what you do? I believe the bible teaches, we are saved without works, by faith. But I also see the possibility of falling away. How do you reconcile this?

James 2:17 (UKJV) Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. Saved by grace through faith, indeed. No amount of works can ever make us worthy of heaven. But true faith will manifest in our works. Jesus said "..by their fruits all of you shall know them" (Matthew 7:16). Even John the Baptist said before that in Matthew 3:8 (UKJV) "Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:" So when you truly repent & believe, there ought to be actions done outwardly that is manifested from that faith. These actions are what is called 'works'. It's not a bad thing. All through the Bible, we see that the great men and women of faith acts out on their faith. They either took great risks out of faith or lived a consistently holy life. All of these are actions, which are works. If they do all of that without faith in God, it would be useless. But faith combined with works (actions) is what shows we are truly transformed & saved. Our obedience is part of works, faith is always shown in our willingness to obey and we are judged by our works (Jeremiah 22:15-16, Ezekiel 14:14, Job 34:25-27, 2 Samuel 22:21-25, James 2:17, John 5:28-29, Acts 23:20, Titus 1:16) So if we say we believe in God but we disobey Him, how can we say we are saved? Similarly, if we obey God without having faith in His salvation, how can we say we are saved? "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man *according as his work* shall be." Revelation 22:12 (UKJV) Hopefully you find this explanation helpful, I sincerely think you simply misunderstood Pastor Doug because he had never taught that we can be saved without works, nor can we be saved by works alone. I stopped watching almost halfway through the sermon to reply to your comment 😁 God bless you, let's continue to seek Him.
