The best thing I like about Garen maybe is his ability to serve as a sponge for poke damage and CC and still be able to farm so well. He has also that "cut the bullshit, come here" potential that allows you to be safe and a menace even in a hard game. The only difficult thing I encounter is sometimes how to keep up the damage when you're using Phase Rush+Stridebreaker+Flash&Ignite and you've used your whole set of skills to clean up a fight but there's still, let's say, a Kai'Sa coming after you... Her healing and passive proc made me realize I could not go for her in that situation and that I should just run and go for objectives. He's a hit and run, go in and go out kinda guy, but not a whole one-man army in that scenario.
