But here and in other streams... I never see anyone cast anything. I know there are instant casts, but all the time? Am I missing something or are they just using those instants so good?

Good vid, commentary was funny. Does go to show how easy healing is in the current state of the game though. For instance, now get any random Tank or DPS to get in a 29 and see how that goes, Tank would be found out for not knowing every cheese, skip & route depending on affix, DPS definitely wouldn't hit the numbers needed for that level and hold the team back potentially breaking the key. But any random healer can jump into a 29 and the key is still timed fine if he just does some basic topping up and uses CD's.. think that says everything lol

Growl just being so extra while this boy is chill doing 13k hps. I don't even understand how people survive being hit by trash mechanics on a fortified 29. A few times someone ate something and didn't get one shot. Also, blows my mind trash was doing more damage in 14 lower karas at launch based on the healing done here. Jesus that shit was overtuned.
@rotrot.graddiv.-.37662 жыл бұрын
This pala is soooo freaking good for a beginner. The tank was very nasty doing unnecessary big pulls especialy for a grievious week where in JY you don't need those to time. Same for using those weird strats that you only see in high keys. The fact that the group doesn't even communicate with the pala with what is going on and what is the plan bothers me a bit. They acted like if the pala had to naturaly know the run and all the strats. Maybe it was to push the pala's limits but it can be a nasty mistake to overhestimate your group's potential as a tank. It is always good to slow things a little bit down when you are used to play with premades and you join a pug.
@Lynxie262 жыл бұрын
in my experience the higher you get in keys the more it is expected of you to know the general strats. and especially as a healer you're always watching the group and following their moves so communicating to the healer is rarely necessary. Sure it might be nice to know if a very dangeous pull is coming up, but a good tank watches healer CDs and he had the whole dungeon to see how he heals, and they can pull around what the group has available to use. that awareness is the difference between your average +20 enjoyer and a +30 gigachad. he's playing with a group that is so good they know how he's doing and can play around it.
@rotrot.graddiv.-.37662 жыл бұрын
@@Lynxie26 " your average +20 enjoyer" I already timed this key in 30 ++ as a tank. Thinking that +30 players are absolute gods doing no mistake is wrong, especialy this season :) I am doing 30s and I wouldn't call that I am a gigachad I just play the game. And trust me those pulls were clearly unecessary for a +29. The proof is that they +3 this key. The tank was clearly doing extremly dangerous pulls with an unexped healer. This key is an easy two chests without doing any risky strats. And it is fine if the tank wants to do big pulls as long as he asks to the unexped guy if he is confortable with it. "he's playing with a group that is so good they know how he's doing and can play around it." that's exactly my point. The "group" isn't good, only the DPSs. If one member of your group fucks up, especialy the healer, it's over, as in JY if you wipe it is very hard to come back in the key. As a tank you have to weigh your group. Doing MDIs pulls then complaining because your group failed and died isn't a good mentality. And finaly, it would have been more interesting to watch for the people AND to play for the pala if they were talking to him. Why do you think the guy left ? Because they were behaving like as..les. In fact when you join stronger people it is always good to know that they are supporting you and you are not left to your own devices. I just felt watching the video that the group was completly snubing the poor pala. Maybe I am wrong but this is how I felt.
@margaerytyrell4177 Жыл бұрын
@@rotrot.graddiv.-.3766 I had an absolute blast doing this. The reason I left so quickly at the end was because I mistakenly hit “leave call” instead of “stop screen sharing”. The pills were nerve wracking but it was fun for sure.

I don't understand why he wouldn't just go all the way up in the gauntlet at the end. He can't reach anyone with his AoE heals from where he is, and sometimes not even with any heals at all. If it weren't for the fact that the group doesn't really need a healer, they wouldn't have gotten through this honestly

It means that healer is by far the most easiest role in m+, no way you can do that with a tank or a dps if you are not sure about what you are doing. It just proves my point, i mean you need healers, especially good one who can use their toolkit at their fullest, send a lot of hps and also do decent damage. But let's be real, 90% healers in m+ are dogwater, they just fill up health bar that's it.
@Ecliptor.2 жыл бұрын
As a dps I disagree, because as long as you have the experience, dps and tank are basically autopilot. Healer is way more reactive of a role, and since it also depends a lot on the players of your group, it can be very hard. But the again, I don't like m+ enough to run these high of keys.
@R3k3tty32 жыл бұрын
1st :)
@Serothil_and_stuff2 жыл бұрын
To be fair, hes a healer, sure he has to keep folks alive and can actively help with utility and all, but at the end of the day, if your group plays well, does mechanics, while dealing the necessary dmg, the healer is basically getting carried. I've healed a 20 streets, almost didn't time it I really struggled to keep my team alive, the key after that? 21 Junkyard so much easier not kidding I thought it had to be a 15 at best. It just really depends on the whole team. A healer can be carried just as every other role except maybe tank, but that's debatable.
@Airths12 жыл бұрын
From personal experience it's easier to carry a healer then dps. Only thing a healer has to do is not die. Season one of an expansion seems to be reverse untell people get some gear.
