Hot take, sub never belonged at the bottom. Rogue control is so fucking good and poison utility is so high. Sub has some insane funnel and if you know what mob to kill in a pull, you're gonna pull through keys and people won't know it was because of your sub rogue. Love that spec so much, and rogue in general for parallel reasons.

How long does it typically take you to get a full pug together? When I would try to start a key on my dps it would take literally forever to try to get a full group.

@@Nemzky tough to say honestly. On average 15 minutes maybe? It got easier as my rating went up and I was doing a key level higher than my best. It became longer and harder since we are at the end of the season.

I've been playing sub my whole life. In s4 DF especially, SUB is pretty strong tbf, not even close being the lowest or even in the bottom low. I was pulling very decent dps on aoe and on ST most of the bosses, I would be the top dps. I can already see from your vid that you're focusing more on DPS than funnel to the boss. SUB and Enha is the top specs on the funnel damage. When a boss have ads or spamming ads, you always shuriken and evis, you only use powder when only aoe trash but even then, if an elite is pulled, you do the same, shuriken / evis.

@@Talj_wow thanks for the tips. I think people rank the spec so low due to it heavily relying on its damage from the CDs. There’s the window of time where we can’t do much when other classes can. Not really sure why my brain didn’t go to shurkien/evis since funneling is something I do all the time on my shaman. Just got lost in the new spec sauce.

Just FYI being lowest in the ranking doesn't neccesarrily mean it's the worst spec, it just means not many players are playing it. Sub is still the best burst rogue spec there is, people are just shit at Sub so they don't play it.
