Love how the inmotion v5/8/10 is almost everyone’s beginner wheel. For me, it was the v10 and it brings back great memories. I still remember those days when going 15 mph feel so fast. Ride a Sherman max now.

wow very impressive, as a new rider waiting for my first EUC, I'd be delighted if I can remotely have the same progress as Andrew after my first session. Well done mate!

Very well done! One thing I found helped me when I was very new to EUC was to “quiet my hands”. If I put them down t my sides after take off I was much more in control.

First time riders, it's completely normal for your hips to gyrate up and down as your body freaks out for the first 30+ minutes or so. This will continuously knock you off balance. When you're learning, you really want to straighten your body out as soon as you get on the pedals. To Mount: - Put dominant leg on pedal w/ knee bent so that the calf is vertical in the center of the wheel. Side of leg should be firmly against the wheel's side so it feels locked to your leg. Slight tilt of the wheel to the inside. Other foot to the side of the EUC and slightly back. Back tilted slightly forward in preparation for push off. - Look forward, not down, and keep looking forward the entire time. - Push off like a skateboard, and as you put your second foot on the pedal (avoid stomping) the wheel will straighten up. As you're lifting your second foot, you should already be straightening up your dominant leg to stand up straight. That'll help to lift your second foot up. - As your second foot gets on the pedal you should already be pushing your hips forward, tightening your butt, and leaning forward onto your toes where your heels are at the spot where they're just about to lift off the pedals. That'll both stabilize you against hip gyrations and accelerate you to get the gyroscopic stability. You should quickly feel solid stability. It's normal for this process to be exhausting and nerve wracking until you get used to it. Your feet likely will get tired/cramped when starting out.

Very well done Andrew! Took me weeks to learn, but once you have it really down (which took me about a year), like Ian says, you don't even think about it anymore, it's just such a natural extension of balancing. I think EUCs are amazing - the simplicity of them makes them very reliable, no gears, no drivetrain, no belts or chains, a single insanely powerful brushless motor, a gyro, a modest sized battery - and you can wheel it around a shop, like rideable luggage! Learnt on a V8F, upgraded to V12 (HS), thinking about a Sherman S, but ... I don't really need it - V12 is great, although it did need some boards swapped, so, it's great now, but was a hassle for the first year. Welcome to EUCs Andrew!

He plainly stated that he's ridden an Mten3, so this _isn't_ his first EUC ride. 🤥🙄

Q. Where did he ride the mten3? A. Inside It was plainly stated, both that he ‘rode’ an mten3 inside and that this was his first ride outside.
@Why-I-Oughta2 жыл бұрын
@@Speedyfeetuk Your title distinctly said 'first EUC ride'. That implys the person has _never ridden an EUC._ He literally specified the specific model of EUC he has ridden. Also, he could've used the Mten3 for weeks or more inside. Furthermore, 'inside' can mean a lot of things, including a massive warehouse. Lastly, your title doesn't mention riding location. Your title is misleading. 👖🔥
