When South Indian filmmakers are concentrating on projects like Asuran, Jallikattu, Jai Bhim, Bollywood directors are busy making Suryavanshi. Well, that clearly explains why the audience is slowly but steadily shifting towards south indian movies.

Vision and storytelling are left with very few directors and writer just looking for making money in the name of masala movie.

@@Ashishkumar-yo3fw writers are paid very very very less in Bollywood thats why we dont get good movies. Producers think that only stars are enough to sell tickets no need for good writing. In hollywood writers are paid anywhere between 2%-5% of the production budget but in Bollywood they still pay only Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakhs per film. Only established and famous writers earn 50 lakhs to 1 Cr which is very less. Movie writers earn less money than tv serial writers in India. So its not writers fault itne paise me itna hi milega

I don't care what they say but the only super hero movie that can make a superhero universe is Ra.one despite of weak execution movie had neat vfx, original action scenes, strong bgm, futuristic concept, hero crossover, unique costume, R-rated scenes etc Just imagine a movie with G.one, chiti robot and bhavesh joshi as their sidekick insted of these 3 cops

Huge problem I have with this movie is its inconsistent tone and execution. If you're making a movie about national security, at least keep those stakes consistent. I had fun watching the movie overall but I remember everyone in the theatre was laughing at many scenes which were not comedic at all. Also I gotta disagree about the scene at the end about unity. It was one of the cringiest moments. And this film doesn't address anything about the bigotry Muslims in India face. Then again, to expect any deep, contextual look at those questions within this movie was my chutiyapa. I wish they had kept following the same story thread they were in the first half.

Refer @4:08 , dear SHAN, Even I do not understand this difference or misconception between mass and class... I mean, We already know that masses like to watch full action, full romance, blatant comedies but masses really don't accept crass and they don't deserve to, so this should not be an excuse to make crass and release it on big screens. They can also accept a ,"SHUBH MANGAL" and can reject "LOVE AAJ KAL." Similarly, class does not accept or deserve crass like FOUR MORE SHOTS and BOLLYWOOD HOUSEWIVES and die to watch FAMILY MAN and PANCHAYAT! So, this should not be an excuse to release it on streaming platforms and this is not a today's trend, it has been since the advent of cinema... I literally tried to get connected with it but couldn't.. Akshay kumars marathi is soo irritating and unnecessary.. Na dhang se mumbai ki marathi lagti hai na pune ya kisi aur Maharashtra region ki.. At least ranveer did good with marathi...thodi natural lagti hai.. I think golmal first part was d only quality movie RS made.. Baki mass entertainment k naam pe, same format, movie ka naam badal k chipkaya hai.. Even I like mass entertainment movies,, but South movies are much much better... Ye wali digest hi nahi ho rahi sacchhi.,

This is stupid movie even by standards of masala. Bollywood needs to think beyond box office.Every industry has ills but when ills itself becomes the industry then you see this kind of substandard lack of empathy movies. No writing no direction worst over acting by both katrina and ranveer. There is a rain song seriously this day and age.Even early 80s when writers were respected we had better thought provoking movies. Women are used as prop but still will give lectures on feminism.
