CAN-AM OUTLANDER 850 MAX XT Winch Cable Replacement

After one year we decided to replace the winch cable on our Can-Am and try out a synthetic rope. We used the original cable each time we were out on the trails, after so much use and abuse the line became twisted and difficult to pull from the spool. I hope that the synthetic rope will last longer than the metal cable. 🤞
Keep an eye out for a future video- we will give an update on how the synthetic rope held up to the wear and tear on the trails hopefully it won't leave us stranded!

Yea - i just tried and could not get the rollars off and to take those cowls off is a bear. I replaced the winch years ago and forgot how i did it. old age sucks

You don't use that fairlead with synthetic rope. You should be using a smooth hawse fairlead.
