Hi CeeDee, Your Understanding about Mom & Pop shop was truly a great attitude. I believe they should have been honest from the start. Good reviews are very important to small companies. I think a lot of the accessories for the Ryker are new and the bugs haven’t been iron out. Sending your experience and tips to the company should improve the install for the next buyer. I had the same problem with Slingmods as far as delays and I ended up cancelling the order after numerous excuses as to why they hadn't shipped. I did get a full refund including the $100 shipping costs but doubt if I will ever deal with them again. Thanks for posting your video and enjoy your ryker.

Hahaha, I see you discovered the same thing I did about Ryker DIY videos. They all make the task look simple, I call it the magic of editing. :) Those saddle bags look awesome, you guys did a great job. And from a visibility stand point, they couldn't be better, especially at night. Makes your bike really stand out.

Thanks for the video, when I got my set in I did a little something different. I took the Max Mount off the Ryker and install all the brackets while it was on my granite countertop. Just my 2 cents. And those rubber bumpers were a pain. I cut off the nibs and superglued them to the brackets.

Great video. After you did the install and ride with passenger, did you have to purchase a different shock or adjustable due to the added weight? If you did what shock did you upgrade to please?

Thank you, Yes I had to purchase a rear shock. I got the Elka Stage 4. I have a video on that install too. The Elka keeps us from bottoming out and my ride is a lot smoother.

nice video suggestion for your helper get a set of box wrenches using an adjustable wrench dont cut it its a lot easier to use a box wrench which dont slip off like the wrench he was using to hold the bolt.

Nice I like these saddle bags. Seems like a lot of work but well worth the effort. I also like the fog lamps you have, what kind are they? I am looking at a couple different ones to install.

Yes, they are well worth it. They hold a good amount of groceries too. I got my fog lights from LaMonster Garage. Unfortunately I just checked and they don't offer the ones i purchased anymore. I've had mine since March. Oh, If you haven't, I would appreciate a subscribe to my channel please. :-) I'm already subscribed to yours.

It is not known if these are waterproof or water resistant. Use dry bags with your new saddlebags equipment. Also notice your ryker has a reverse. Didn't see reverse white light on your rack system.

Dry bags are a good idea for a just in case. I have rode in the rain and downpours numerous times and all the items remained dry. No there is not a reverse light on these bags, but my Ryker does not have a white reverse either. I try to park where I can drive out.

If you mean the BRP passenger back rest, it can't because the saddle bag frame uses the same area where the stock back rest goes.

Do you bottom out you suspension a lot now?

It would bottom out when I added another passenger. The bar supporting the top case would hit. I have installed and Elka stage 4 rear shock and it does not bottom out at all.
