Can am Spyder F3 LED install (Light up the night)

LED install on Can am Spyder F3 SE6. I am not an installer, just a guy who loves riding his Spyder. My intention is to help other Spyder lovers if they are interested in the DIY installation of LED strips on their own bikes.

Great job, I just have one question. How would you jack up the bike with the LED going down the middle of the bike. Don’t think you can place the jack on the lights

I have the Daytona 2017. I think it's 4to 5 inches from the ground. Looks close to ground for skid plate

Love the content, I have just subscribed to the channel, you have mentioned that you are pretty big guy how does the Spyder ride? I am also a big guy and I am going to purchase either the F3 or the RT but I’m torn between the 2 because I like the sports look and the touring look but I don’t want to look like I’m retired getting the RT and don’t want to look like I am smothering the F3 ! if that make any sense? Keep the videos coming!

I love it. I have swapped out my windshield from the sporty look to more of a windbreaker. I think it still looks sporty. I agree with you, the touring looks a little older. Have you made your choice yet?

Thank you, Thanks for a great video. Your bike looks Awesome. I may have a dumb question. I also want to add some Leds to my F3. So instead of the kill switch mounted, could that be ran beside of the ignition opposite the fog light switch. Also, can the lights be cut on and off with the kill switch, or you must use the remote. I don't want to have to keep up with the remote. Set it and forget it, is what Im looking to do. Thanks for all you do, we learning as we go.

I thought about instilling a kill switch and using one of the designated spots by the ignition, but I installed a kill switch for my fog lights and garage door opener there. But, that is an awesome idea for a new video…….

Just curious how the lights on the bottom are doing? Are they still there? Rocks and other road problems can destroy things on the bottom. Also, if you lift the bike that might damage the lights.

They hung in pretty well. No problems falling off yet. I did have to add some double sided gorilla tape to my wife’s bike underneath. When I have had to lift the bike, I use ramps like in the video.

My Spyder should be delivered to my house today, then the fun begins. It’s winter here in the Midwest so I won’t be ridding much at all. But let the mods begin. Next I need to find a good heater for my garage. Burrrrr!🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

Got my Spyder although only got a few short rides in before it got really cold!🥶🥶🥶🥶 Man this thing really scoots! I had a Valkyrie that was really fast, this thing is quick too. My Valkyrie was 1340 cc but was a flat 6 cylinder. It was. Little over 100 HP and about 105 Ft Lbs. The Spyder is a little more HP and Ft Lbs. very happy so far, come on spring!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I did not. I was too nervous to cut into the wires. I’m a noob when it comes to any type of electrical components. Would love too. Maybe I’ll try it this winter when I add more mods to the bike.

Great question. Unfortunately, I found no documentation on what that wire was used for or where to run it. I did not connect that wire on my install or my wife’s bike. No problems thus far. I’m sure it has some functionality, but has. No effect on what we were looking for lol.

I emailed the company about that blue light. The instructions that they gave me was completely different from the instructions in the book and I'm still just as lost as I was before.

This is what I was told "You may be connected wrong, it's incorrect that connect the blue wire to the positive battery. *Please connect the blue wire to your rear brake light. Below are some tips that might be useful for the brake light feature installation. 1). Pick a point on that wire leading to your rear brake light. And this point should be after the switch, NOT before. Otherwise, the LED strips may stay in RED due to a continuous power supply."

Ran out of time lol. I have since then added more lights to the rear under the seat and through the frame.
