How does it hander with car tires on the front ? We put a car on rear she said it feel like rear want to step out on her. I talk to others with same tires on rear said he feel same thing said it cause the side walls is hard . so just curious about cars tires on front

Could you explain how you wired up the 12 volt accessory plug please? Good idea. How did you route the wires, is it switched or direct to the battery? How and where did you mount the plug? I enjoy you videos.

It's wired direct to the battery terminals with an inline fuse. Not switched as I also use it to plug in the trickle charger. I mounted it under the left fairing just in front of my left leg. You can see where it is at minute 6:52 of the video.

Did you make this oil catch can? Any harm in re- routing the breather hose (that would usually feed back to the air filter) directly to the ground and not bother with an oil catch can?

After you added the rear panniers where the stock turn signals too wide forcing you to mount smaller turn signals? Are these smaller turn signals the LED type or with regular bulbs? I read somewhere the LED turn signals might mess up the spyder CAMBUS system.

Yes. The smaller LED BRP ones. No - they don't muck up anything but do blink a little faster. The pannier racks cone with brackets to mount the original blinkers on the mudguard but I didn't want to do that.

+Spyder Stuff Agree; moving the blinkers to the mudflaps is a pain. The BRP leds you used; what application are they usually used on if I were to order them from BRP? ie which BRP lights are these? I heard that the CANAM racks include brackets that allow you to use the orig blinkers but they get mounted higher instead of in the mudguard. I guess you ordered the GIVI racks instead?

Tyres are Khumo SOLUS KH17. 175x60 14 They perform much better than standard. I think it's the stiffer side wall of a car tyre that makes the difference. My theory is the standard tyres are soft to help make up for the cheap nasty shocks.

Did you fabricate the metal brackets that have relocated the rear turn signals further backwards from the stock position? If not, where did you purchase these brackeets? Nice upgrades!

we have a 2012 RSS and we bought the bigger touring windshield right from our Spyder dealer....

@@scotts7147 Scott found one from place in California. It's called California Scientific , they seem to carry every size. Dealer was no help also Cycle Gear , nothing.
