When Andrew Jacked revealed his new and improved physique with added mass at the Texas Pro last weekend, speculations immediately began to circulate about how he will place at this year's Mr. Olympia contest. Some feel he will move up from fifth in 2023 to top 3, others even believe he has what it takes to WIN the title! Giles and Ron look at comparisons of Andrew pose for pose against the men currently standing in his way: Nick Walker, Brandon Curry, Samson Dauda, Hadi Choopan, and of course, the reigning Mr. Olympia champion, Derek Lunsford. Andrew can beat Derek and Hadi too. He’s not just limited to 3rd place. Honestly he looks better than both of them just standing relaxed. If you asked 10 people off the street if they would rather look like Andrew or Derek and Hadi all 10 would say Andrew. Eyes go immediately to him when he’s on the stage, that’s what Mr O should look like. Derek lacks separation in arms and chest. He and Hadi both have wider waist than Andrew, they both also lack great calf development. Andrew and Samson have the best physiques in the open

Cheers mate! Had a fantastic arm sesh at my gym tonight, pretty much had the place to myself so lots of in between sets dancing 🕺🏻 & singing was taking place I’m jolly pleased to report! Applied Nutrition cola flavoured beef protein shake right after then home for steak 🥩, eggs 🍳, mushrooms 🍄 at home and some nice red wine 🍷, big massive British cherries 🍒, small bag of crisps (treat night) and gonna grab some sea salt dark chocolate 🍫 (40-50gm maybe?), 500mcg TB500 right into my torn right shoulder, 5iu of insulin (novorapid) to cover the Tiger treat treats… And in the podcast studio watching horror movie ‘The Apostle’ on Netflix! Tiger knows HOW to chill bebehhhh…😎👌 🐅 Tomorrow morning it’s legs 🦵, then into the city for grilled Nando’s chicken 🍗 and then comic book store as I haven’t been in ages!

Ya Walker actually worries me in the sense that I don’t think he deserves to win at all, he is way too blocky, his waist is huge, his saracose veins in his calves are nasty but he is an absolute mass muscle monster so the freak factor is huge for him. Andrew’s physique and symmetry is the best hands down but they favor so much these mass muscle monsters and it really isn’t fair to the guys like Andrew who have the best physique. Idk if you seen the recent video of Derek with Nick and Samson I believe but I thought Derek was huge and that no one would make him look small from watching his recent videos on his channel but Nick genuinely outsized him, I was surprised.

I agree. Adjustment with the posing on the side shots and he’s golden. Size is definitely there. I saw the video Aceto showed on Rxmuscle show and he looked huge from the side when he posed correctly.

I think Andrew can easily win the Olympia . His physique is very complete . Lacking for absolutely nothing . He has a beautiful shape and structure plus size , condition, balanced, proportions, muscle separation , not extended abs , aesthetics…. I would like to see Derek or Andrew in first place Hadi or Nick third place Brandon Curry has a good upper body but that’s it. Andrew , Derek , Hadi and Nick are way better than Brandon ( nothing against Brandon) of course is only my opinion . Can’t wait to see them together on stage .

The only other show I can think of where a competitor absolutely destroyed the competition is Arnold at the Olympia 1971... ... ..., because NO ONE else showed up!!🤯🤯🤯 #crickets **no disrespect to the other competitors @ Texas, but as many would say, Andrew is an alien, in a league of his own

Hi Ron, did you hear the news of the new M.Olympia Brazil? Muscle discord was asking question why they don't have open men bodybuilders in Brazil Olympia. I gave him the following answer that i found it logical, what do you think about my answer. The reason is that the IFBB wants to maintain the exclusivity and prestige of the Mr. Olympia title. If there were another competition with the "Olympia" name, it could dilute the significance and renown of the original Mr. Olympia contest. The IFBB aims to keep Mr. Olympia as the sole premier title for professional open bodybuilders, unlike other competitions such as the Arnold Classic. To protect its status, the IFBB does not permit other events to use the "Olympia" name. They can’t do it. Just think a little bit. When you say he is Mr. Olympia, you’re not referring to the 212 Olympia or Classic Olympia categories. When we talk about Mr. Olympia, it means the Open Men’s Bodybuilding category. So, if someone wins the Open Olympia and also the Brazil Olympia, he can’t just say he is Mr. Olympia because it creates confusion. There will always be only one Mr. Olympia, as established by Joe and Ben Weider. You can make a Podcast about the subject.

@@RonHarrisMuscle Yes, exactly, it didn’t just happen once because we realized it could be confusing. Fortunately, Dexter Jackson won, and he was already Mr. Olympia. Imagine if someone else had won-he would also be called Mr. Olympia, which would be very confusing. Probably that’s why the IBBF didn’t want to associate Mr. Olympia Brazil with open men’s bodybuilding. At least, that’s how I see it.

great conversation. I'm enjoying the content. side chest questions: Could Andrew shorten up where he grips his right far hand further up his left forearm, closer to his elbow. Wouldn't that help to create more of a chest bulge like the guys hit it in the classic era, 70 & 80s etc.? It just seems like he's holding his arm too far from his chest/torso. And also, wouldn't sitting down more on his hamstrings - a la how Ramy famously would hit it - wouldn't that help his side leg look bigger and enhance the hamstring separation/drop?

I happen to prefer the 'old school' style side chest pose where the ribcage is elevated over the 'side most-muscular' version most modern guys do. As for sitting down on his hams, I doubt it would make much difference as you can only create so much illusion that way. He simply needs more hamstring development. Also, I think it would look awkward for a man as tall as Andrew to scrunch down like that and make himself shorter.

I'm just a bodybuilding layperson/fan with 0 experience or expertise so I appreciate the response. I'm definitely rooting for Andrew. I understand intellectually why Hadi and Derek have certain advantages that will be very hard for Andrew to overcome, but he's just so incredibly aesthetic and I think that aspect is one of the more attractive elements to the casuals like myself.

I'm surprised that a master poser like Lee Labrada or Shawn Ray etc. doesn't have a fixed consulting fee to meet with these guys. Even some of the classic guys like Ramon Dino. Not a knock on these guys either, not everyone can be Dorian in the mandatories, but almost everyone could stand to improve, no?

Not true at all but I agree he def wouldn’t be as known. He might have blown up even more had Larry not introduced him on his channel because he would have came out of nowhere even moreso in the bodybuilding world. Regardless, there is no way he wasn’t going to blow up with his physique.

He could be 3rd-6th depending on condition. Still needs Hamstrings. Side shots will be the weakest in the top callout. I think he will beat Nick easily. May have problems with Hunter, Derek, and Samson. Won't be close enough to Hadi's condition (not sure if anyone will).

His side tricep is excellent I think, just that side chest I would say is his weaker pose. Just about every single pro has one. Nick Walker’s is his front lat…Andrews is the side chest, it has improved but still needs ‘more’.
