Run away from the fog gate as soon as you enter. Radahn's opening attack sometimes aggroes Thiollier, causing him to just pace around instead of joining. Edit: And FYI, you don't actually need Thiollier or Ansbach in the fight to get their gear at the end. Just sit at the grace after defeating Radahn and they'll appear in the arena.

@@umukzusgelos4834 I feel you. Summoning NPCs or other players will buff his HP and technically make it harder, but it's nice to have someone else taking aggro from time to time. I didn't feel bad about using the antspur rapier, shield, and mimic tear. Next time, I'll try soloing with a less cheesy build. RNG is a big factor, especially that first attack.

I had everyone spawn one after another immediately during one of my gank fight attempts. I’ve never been jumped so hard in my life, Dane and hornsent would rush me down while Moore domed me with rot pots. Then when I’d think the coast is clear I’d get hit by a double lions claw from freya, just for leda to end my shit with her AOW. They genuinely beat my ass harder than messmer or any boss in any game

I assume it’s because I saved him from Leda but didn’t summon him for the actual messmer fight so his quest progressed in a weird way or something. Idk everyone beat my ass and I was forced to summon ansbach and tholier who for some reason didn’t stick with the others I’ve seen some players only had dane, hornsent, Moore and leda but idk how the quest system works lol. Doesn’t really make sense either because I did tholiers quest and killed him but I had the option to summon him for the last boss for some reason even tho I killed him a day before cause he invaded me after st Trina quest

When you look at him, poor Bayle spent his whole life fending off people after his hide. Poor dude's a derelict. Tattered wings, bony stumps instead of the paws at the end of the wing, wounds everywhere and if I'm not mistaken he's also missing a leg.
