As far as the boogeyman narrative, I honestly question it... I mean, one could use abortion, voting rights, LGBTQ rights, women rights, et cetera... But when you look at it, the stance Republicans take against those aren't hyperbole, so we can't exactly use those as metaphotical boogeymen. But all the same, it's a tall order to find anything to make an irrational culture war over like the GOP did with Critical Race Theory...
