Sea scorpions have Area of Effect damage so they do a lot better against clumps of targets as opposed to individual targets. When you have a mass attacking them they'll take the whole mass at once. That's their major advantage.

Они эффективнее действуют в группе, вдобавок очень шустрые и маневрируют. Они могут убивать диверсантов морских, правда их тоже уничтожают С4 как Таня. Но против подлодок они беззащитны, единственное что могут это удирать. Я всегда строю их по 15 штук минимум распределяя по сектору по 3 скорпиона. Чем выше плотность и радиус, тем эффективнее ПВО. Против Кировых число Скорпионов должно быть не менее 20 (идеале 30).Хотя чем больше, тем лучше

It would be more of a kamikaze swarm case. The aircraft carrier planes won't land any hit, but may crash into the scorpions for damage.

Fun fact: Elite Flak weapon deal less damage per shot compared to green's and veteran's. However, it shoots in 2-round burst, and being flak weapon is known of wide splash and inaccuracy, so with each volley, it does less damage to more targets all over the range of dispersion. To put it simply, elite flak units was never got weaker after promotions, they were just being more specialized in their field of expertise.

Ironically they do more damage before there elite. The flak weapons get weaker when they get to elite status. So likely wouldn't make much difference

IFV elite is second most powerful AA. AI controlled flaks will always be better at massed units. Single target tho they fall behind the IFVs and aegis

i think there is no air unit that can 1x1 any anti air naval unit, maybe sea scorpion need to micro management vs floating discs when in low number but that is it. yuri is the only faction who cant beat air with his navals because he has no anti air naval unit

Harrier/black Eagles can beat the scorp but it wont alwaya surive. If the sea scorp dosnt micro manage and dodge the missile the second attack run will kill it. But it could also take the harrier down if the missile takes too long to hit
