@@WenisssssI was thinking that as well but then I was like, Bobs course management is notoriously horrendous. All the intangibles of golf like strategy, course management, risk/reward etc are such an important part of the game so I think he’s overdoing it a little on purpose to really ram that point home. I’m a low handicap and I have a few friends who shoot around 100, I know for a fact, if they let me pick every club and every shot during their rounds I’d be able to knock 5-7 strokes off their average totals AT LEAST, maybe more and that’s literally not changing anything with their swing, setup, grip, nothing, just how they think through a hole. People who didn’t grow up playing the game and/or never got professional on course instruction are usually awful when it comes to course management.

Bobby, from a guy who went from 120 to 79 I can tell you this. You hit so good on the range and then fall apart on the course for a few reasons. 1. you swing harder on the course leading to miss hits, swing easy 2. you have too many swing thoughts on the course when you should only think about the ball going where you want it 3. you forget to look at the back of the ball and hit it 4. your grip becomes weak or strong by accident making the ball go left or right. Use alignment gloves. 5. DO NOT chip with a 60 degree, only pros use a 60. Use a 9 iron and bump and run, or use a 50 and swing easier. 6. wear golf shoes. the spikes will keep your back foot still and keep you from slicing due to your back foot losing grip Good luck. If you eve in DFW, would love to play.
@MachoManAndySavage1252 ай бұрын
Only pros use a 60? That’s a real awful take. As a 12 with a short game way better than my handicap would lead you to believe, you couldn’t be more wrong. If you are my skill level or better you are definitely using a lob wedge. I can count on 1 hand the amount of people I see using a 9 iron and they typically suck worse
@deepermeanings66222 ай бұрын
@@MachoManAndySavage125 Depends on the person. Most have to swing way harder with a 60 due to the loft to get the distance. My club pro taught me to use a 50 and let the loft do the work, not the swing speed.
@MachoManAndySavage1252 ай бұрын
