@@craighoffman Brandon Coleman really looks very promising at either tackle position. Well coached Coleman is BUILT, has solid reliable footwork, and as a result a strong first punch and fast handwork to go with it. He sometimes plays a bit high or inconsistent, but tape says this is a powerful, studious and industrious LT. There is a LOT to like in the prospect of Coleman at tackle. Could well be a steal.

Big strong kid, but hasn’t played much football. Give him some NFL coaching and he could grow into a very good tackle. Doesn’t seem to be the answer this year. I hope they are still planning on picking up a tackle before week 1.

Coach Quinn brought over C Tyler Badazz from Dallas - So they are re-building the O-Line - both Daniels & Mariota are mobile QB's - so Run blocking is needed !! in RPO base scheme of Kingsbury - you won't have a statue standing still in the pocket lol

Parsons isn't double teamed every play. He doesn't have like 50 sacks. Parsons had 0 sacks in 7 games. Those teams didn't double team Parsons on every play. Stop making these opponents bigger than what they really are. He's good, but not unblockable.

He probably moves inside. Most guys like him (not a top talent, very average opposition) don't pan out at OT, and especially LT. Remember Sam Cosmi? Maybe he pans out at RT? That would be HUGE, because RT right now is Andrew Wylie, and he flat out sucks. He needs to be moved to G, where he was significantly better. He's also only one guy. We have 2 spots that need a desperate overall on the OL. What really needed to happen was to go after OT aggressively in FA. We didn't. We did not do that in the draft. We got a 3rd round project. Now, we have to pray we get lucky and find 2 decent quality FA OT's. After most of them have been picked over. Not a good position to be in.

What makes you think most of the Tackles in the bottom of the first round will pan out? Not one player in the draft is a guaranteed success in this league. So I trust the guys that are paid to do the evaluating.
@JMoore68
@JMoore68 17 күн бұрын
@@carlosallen4616 They have a better chance of panning out than a 3rd rounder. It's obviously a crapshoot, but they are ranked for a reason. And we still need another OT even if Coleman beats the odds and becomes a lights out OT in the league.
@craighoffman
@craighoffman 17 күн бұрын
Most guys that don’t work at OT don’t have the traits that Coleman has. He’s kinda unique for a guy who played both. I’m super intrigued. The OT market stinks in FA tho because good OT’s that are reliable don’t get to free agency haha…it’s worth the shot this year and if it doesn’t work, that can be the #1 priority next year. Can’t do everything at once.
@JMoore68
@JMoore68 17 күн бұрын
@@craighoffman I'm not sure about that. But, be that as it may, he's only one man. We need both a RT and LT. Coleman might be a better RT in the long run, but even if he turns out to be a LT.....Andrew Wylie at RT is just asking for Daniels to be in IR. Remember what happened to Howe? Having these kinds of questions at T is not the way you keep your shiny #2 pick in the draft upright and healthy.
