Interfaith dialogues are so important, so glad TSL is taking the path towards this direction.

Amazing in Singapore, religion is a topic openly discussed and can be questioned. In Malaysia, such interview will sure be censored by the governent.

What a great message to end on Venerable. I love that he acknowledges other faiths and just encourages anyone to be steadfast in their faith whatever they may be and to just be better than yesterday

its rather fake isn't it.... besides Buddhism, most other religion do not believe each other religion's existence... e.g. go ask any true Christian or Muslim on whether do they condone others...

This is an interesting series. The only wish I have was that perhaps TSL could have interviewed female priests/nuns so that they can share their perspectives as women and also inspire others that women can become religious leaders too. Religion is a very male dominated field.

Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhism developed more than 600 years and 1000 years respectively after Buddha. so they contain a lot of teachings which deviate from the original teaching of Buddha. Sad to see later practices deteriorate into superstition, relaxation of monks precepts, tantric, mantras etc. This greatly deviate from the cultivation of virtue, deep meditation and insight wisdom found in the original teachings. Cheers.
