That's one of my all time favorite episodes! although i won't lie when i said that the deer man kinda scared the crap out of me when i was younger, especially the part when he first spoke to Margaret that really caught me off guard i tell you what. but i overall enjoyed the episode it was fun to watch!

Another plot hole around that "secret gate" scene at 4:05 is this: If it's forbidden to access this area, why would they make a gate able to be opened to pass? Why is it not locked behind a key that only rangers have? Why not just put up a sign?

1-pause at 7:13 What the hell is that !!!!! 2-part of me thinks Mordecai has Brian griffin syndrome. A sad but common condition where characters think they’re the equivalent to rocket scientists or philosophers because the only people willing to hang out with them(or the only the people they’re willing to hang to with ) are people considering on the slow side. 3-I can honestly get behind that theory sooner then the stating a lady getting it on with a deer and leaving the child in the woods.

I don't remember the ep quite well but how did the ranger found them? Did he get the hunch they would try to go to the locked area? Also why didn't he escorted them out after finding them trying to set up shelter? Seems like he was okay with them camping in the -forbidden- area? Maybe he wanted to lure the deer kid out and finish the job? This gets dark

Well, that area has been Mordecai and Rigby’s camping spot for some time as stated in the episode and the ranger must’ve been suspicious of them as they aren’t anywhere near the forest’s designated campgrounds.

The ranger does ask which camping grounds they were going to, there was more than enough time for him to check both sites during downtime and guess they went to the restricted area (even if Mordecai and Rigby never met that ranger before). For the other questions, who knows other than to set up the chase and ending.

As apparently Park Rangers are instructed not to say anything about paranormal stuff they find. What I also really like about Regular Show in general was the sometimes no music of scrne. Like it added to the odd and creepy factor. Like the Halloween one where the Wizard curses Rigby. No music is so much better for building suspense.
