In as few words as possible, can you explain exactly what it is that saves someone? Hopefully in one sentence, because I have a follow up question.

@elliottchristopherson8101 Someone is saved from the Judgment of Hell through the payment of Jesus Christ on the cross, which is, in a term, God's grace; which is unmerited favor. I can give you Bible references if you would like.

@@thegospelcallTGC But it's specifically belief in something, right? You're not saved through Jesus' payment without believing it, right?

@elliottchristopherson8101 Yes, sir, in order to accept that payment, true belief must be placed in what Jesus did and not one's self. There are many different ways to say it, but the Bible speaks of a type of confidence in Jesus. It doesn't have to be too specific, but I am just being clear.

@elliottchristopherson8101 Thank you very much for the comments and the questions. To answer your question because of free will. The Bible assumes such, and those who give their will over in a sense, because of repentance if sins, then they will have eternal life. The reason I say repentance is because only those who desire their sins to be taken away will trust in Jesus. So you are right it has been paid for, but only those who accept the gift will receive it. I hope I am explaining this well. Also I can give references if you want.

Catholics ARE Christians. The original Christians in fact, the church Christ himself established. Love my Protestant brothers and sisters, but please don’t perpetuate that Catholic and Christian are not synonymous.

I did not finished your video because from the get go something is wrong. Mormons have different Jesus. He's Lucifer's brother. JW Jesus is not God but a god and thought to be angel Michael. Muslim Jesus is just a prophet and not nailed to the cross and died and resurrected. So if they believe in their JESUS, are they saved?

@@onthego41 thank you for the comment and I think that is an important point anyone who is going to receive the gift of Salvation Must Believe on Jesus Christ the son of God who is the Incarnation of God Catholics don't have a different version of Jesus they just add works on top of Grace but as you can see this one Catholic is different in other words the biblical Jesus is whom we need to trust in we need to take him at his word and not what we think he is I hope that makes sense

​@thegospelcallTGC The Roman Catholic Church Jesus is Italian. That kind of makes me think, and correct me if I am wrong, are they worshipping the same Jesus of the Bible when they pray to an Italian looking Jesus? Jesus was born of Jewish heritage and definitely not Italian. We don't know how He look and should not adapt somebody else's image nor base it on worshippers heritage. Could you imagine painting you as a Black or Asian and declare to all that its you? Imagery in the mind makes you think of Jesus is whitish, long haired Italian. Many Protestants adapt that image in many of their books. Is that really Jesus is the question? I thought Luther promotes " the just shall live by faith", meaning you don't need that image. That's idolatry!

@@onthego41 Thank you again for the comment and your thoughts and I think that is an important question. I will say that I have never seen Jesus and I won't probably see His true face until I am in heaven, but that doesn't mean I cannot worship Him or trust in Him genuinely. Even though a fake image of Him is still bad it doesn't mean that the painting is either what is being worshipped or what is being trusted in. Although this is very likely for many people groups, and every should stay away from seeking an image rather than to holder of said image. Even so, I think this is where the heart is much more important. Are you aiming your worship and trust at God incarnate who rose from the dead or are you seeking an altered version. Paul does speak of faith in God and how that bring righteousness as it did for Abraham in Romans chapter 4. I would say this might clear things, but faith is a spiritual action which means it must be on what is spiritual and not what is physical like an image. I think anyone who admits personal inability to obtain righteousness and seeks God genuinely will find it in Christ, but that is my point in the video it must be from the heart. I hope this makes sense and I covered everything. Apologies for the long comment.

So to understand your point, it is ok whatever image/look of Jesus we worship as long as our heart worship Jesus? I would say, keep the image out as it is NOT the true image of Jesus. Otherwise, it's OK to worship with Black Nazarene, where Jesus is Black or the little Sto. Nino that is Italian/Spanish. We don't need an image or create an image to worship God even Jesus.

@onthego41 Yes, you are right, and I agree with you, but an image like in a TV show isn't bad as long as the truth of worshipping God in spirit and, in truth, is understood and acted out.

You should meet more people of better character in that regard, I assure you there are plenty. Are you going to church? Have you talked to any pastors or anything such as that?
