I appreciate the legitimately new and creative content idea, in a world of streamers who just bitch about a stale meta

I don't mean to be a big downer, and I know this was just a cute stream idea, but generative AI like this is terrible for the environment. ChatGPT is also powered by ACTUAL slave labor in impoverished African countries. Try to avoid this kind of stuff in the future

Cars are terrible for the environment and their parts are also often produced in 3rd world countries under dubious conditions. Same can be said for many other things aswell. I don´t think he has to worry about doing a couple of AI centered Videos if he wants to...

@ This is a bad and, quite frankly, anti-intellectual stance to have. Thing A is bad, but Thing B is also bad, so you should continue to do Thing A because it doesn’t matter. Generative AI like ChatGPT is so easy not to use (even in the video Crokeyz says this is first time ever using something like it), and should be avoided

@@michaelmcdonald2005 I agree that it’s a form of whataboutism but there are honestly 100 things crokeyz (like every other person living in a first-world country) does every day that could be avoided to help the environment. examples: showering every day, using plastic for almost everything, AC’s, using delivery services like Amazon for everything, btw the device you’re typing on rn is most likely produced under the same bad conditions you criticize in your initial comment. I just wanted to say that telling him not to use AI a few times is quite hypocritical in our modern society. But if you want to call that unitellectual than maybe you don’t actually want to reflect your own consuming behaviors but rather just wanted to take the role of the person raising their finger about something they read online without actually caring about the consequences of harming the environment…
