I also give the brands I have to have a more specific answer. they match a couple of sets for drone and goggles. I tested and worked as indicated. it was more easy than seen reviews for some antennas over different goggles or situations.

My experience of ChatGPT and alike are that they will give you an answer even it doesn't know the correct answer. Sometimes it gets it right sometimes it doesn't. This is hard to translate from Swedish but we say: "Den ger ETT svar inte RÄTT svar." "It gives you ONE answer not the RIGHT answer."

I don't know what it was about this but this was actually brilliant. As time progresses it's just going to learn more and more. Eventually the right answer is going to be found if you prompt it correctly. So kudos this was a lot of fun. But it's going to be something you have to pay for if I'm not mistaken. Like with most tools, they are only as strong as the user (or in this case inputs). I think one of the biggest difficulties in troubleshooting for someone else, is getting relevant and factual information. When you ask them to do something, and they say they did, its not always safe to assume they did exactly what you were asking them. Similar to the ESC protocol issue in this video. I have heard people say, "I flashed it, and that part is fine, but XYZ doesn't work." Did they actually flash it correctly? Did they miss out some key bit of info they don't think is relevant but is actually the problem? The amount of people in beginner groups that ask why their quad freaks out on the ground when they arm it, but are abusively insistent that they checked motor mapping, motor direction, board orientation, etc. "Oh, my board was at 45deg." You told me you checked that already! Hard for ChatGPT or AI to catch someone in a lie (whether its on purpose or naiveté. )

Its interesting to see that the failure mode of the AI is the same as it would be for most ppl, lacking knowledge. I strongly expect it has not been trained with data that includes cloudbuild, or it is not common enough/ include common issues related to it.

I usually don’t get pedantic about LLMs, but your friend did not “train” the model. OpenAi’s ChatGPT is proprietary and ironically closed. What your friend did was a form of RAG (retrieval augmented generation). This is considered “fine-tuning.” Why does it matter? Because a model that is actually trained with troubleshooting data would be more accurate than a RAG system. If you have some spare change, you can indeed train your own model. You can use one of the open source models and pay big bucks to train it on your custom data. Most people don’t have the compute to do this. The thing you have to understand is that, it’s not going to replace you. If the model was trained on your videos, audio, transcript, patron, etc., it will be very much like you. It can learn patterns about you that you were unaware of. How you write, how you talk, the pause between your words or sentences, your dry sense of humor, and even your technical knowledge. I say, embrace it and use it to augment you.

Interesting that I recently asked Copilot why my Arducopter drone with rotated IMU in yaw by 180 degree has also pitch and roll inverted. Well, it says that most likely that is as intended and I need to invert pitch/roll in either RC or in drone config. However it is interesting what is the core issue, is it a poor implementation of AHRS oroentation feature?

I think most people can troubleshoot them very well right now. It's called buying cheap stuff that stops working for no reason...sure there are a few times it's user error most everything fpv related is not built to last, but built to replace! That's FPV - you build, go fly, stuff always breaks as if it's your problem, and then waste more and more money on junk, for what a few more views lol.

That was fun challenge to watch. However, I think you can't call it a tie because you didn't share the images w/ the custom FPV GPT. The GPT beat you on the first issue w/ remapping because you had the advantage of seeing the FC image while the GPT did not. Also, the GPT seemed to find the remapping answer faster than you guys did. BTW, "training" is not the correct terminology for the custom GPTs; it's more like RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) .. aka, feed it your docs as context.

Yes we did upload the images to the model. As for the timing, remember that we were recording for about 2 hrs. This is edited for entertainment and information. You can't really judge the timing though.

I tried Chatgpt. Not much help. My battery voltage in the osd in my DJI v2 goggles with the goggle hack (WTFOS), freezes sometimes. I just a battery because the voltage was reading correctly and going down, but at 22.6v is froze and I flew until it fell out of the sky. Software problem with BF or the goggle hack or a bad FC or bad ESC? Chat gpt didn't help.

It is a language model, expect it to follow the correct steps but potentialy insert gibberish if the information it needs is a direct lookup that does not incoroperate any context. (numbers/ names). OpenAI also specificaly tell you not to trust what it says, its on you if you ignore that warning.
