@@franekkkkk Personally, it bothers me more that he's pro-forced birth, but there's obviously a section of the electorate that likes that. I think Kemp has come across as enough of a Republican who is willing to stand up to Trump to win the moderates in Georgia. Most who voted for Warnock/Ossoff in the runoffs did so because our previous two senators were pathetic sycophants. I am from Georgia. I graduated from the Univ. of Georgia. Herschel Walker's name has reverberated across the campus of UGA since the National Championship of 1980. He's been a football hero as long as I've been alive. But... dear sweet Jesus... what has happened to the world where this man can mumble his incoherent .00002 cents, and people will still vote for him FOR US CONGRESS?!? Anyone who votes for Herschel Walker is not voting FOR HIM... they are voting against, "the liberal guy." And this... is how the ship begins to sink.

Here are some of the other candidates and what chance they probably had at defeating Raphael Warnock: 1. *Gary Black:* He was very conservative, and very Pro-Trump, and had Herschel Walker listened to his family and chose not to run for Senate in Georgia, he would've been the GOP frontrunner. And he might've had a better shot against Warnock, as he doesn't seem to have as many problematic things about him, and has expirience as Georgia's current Agricultural Commissioner. Although, the only polling we have that showed him against Warnock showed him trailing him, so we don't really know that for certain. 2. *Josh Clark:* He certainly does have expirience as a State Representative and a businessman, but, he doesn't have the name recognition that Gary Black and Herchel Walker have, good or bad, so, even if Walker didn't run, he would still lose the primary, and even if he somehow did win the primary, he would probably struggle with fundraising against Warnock, leaving him behind in the polls by a mile. 3. *Kelvin King:* As an Air Force Veteran, he could be able to win over overseas military voters. Plus, because he is African American, he could be able to win over Black Conservative Voters who would otherwise think the GOP is too racist. But again, doesn't have much name recognition, nor does he have political expirience, so I don't think he could win the primary, even if Walker didn't run. 4. *Jonathan McColumn:* While he could do well with the Christian Right, but he doesn't have much name recognition, and I really can't find anything about him. Not surprising that he only got last place. 5. *Latham Saddler:* He certainly has appeal to rural voters, which are the most stereotypically conservative voters out there, but, it really doesn't go beyond that, though, because of that base of support, it kind of makes sense he got third place in the primary, and probably would be runner-up, had Herchel Walker decided not to run.

As a US viewer, I'd definitely like to continue seeing the US channel. To that end, videos like this would probably do better if the title didn't make it sound like a regional topic. The US is huge, so news from Georgia probably doesn't mean much to someone who's not at least in the South East. Senate races like this are an exception though... A better title might be something like "Balance of Power in the US Senate may hinge on a close race in Georgia". This immediately tell people in the rest of the country why they should care about this story from Georgia.

@@hs5312 yes, I’m not saying that most of them can’t win, but it doesn’t look likely at the moment. For starters, neither Masters or Oz are leading in their respective races. Can the polls be wrong again? Absolutely. But it’s very very rare for candidates to pull off an upset. Not to mention that most of the accurate pollsters, such as Trafalgar and Emerson, have both fetterman and Kelly winning in their races. They also have warnock winning in Georgia, which is interesting because Walker was leading in that race prior to his abortion scandal. Also, if you look at the Arizona and Georgia gubernatorial races, the republicans are leading by margins greater than their republicans colleagues running for senate, which may indicate that these races have more to do with candidate quality than simply the national environment.

@@viktoryanokovich3699 it’s the midterms I expect history to repeat itself. Oz I wouldn’t expect to win, walker could possibly be carried across the line by kemp or undecided voters deciding based on say inflation or the economy. Similar thing in Arizona. Masters I would suspect to be the most likely to win an upset but nothing is known until the election. But it is the midterms and that almost always benefits the party opposing the president
