Dad said if you mow weeds enough you will get grass. Spring and Summer I mow three to three and a half inches and it does shade out the weeds. It also passes over the rocks. Fall I drop the deck to two and a half so leaves blow in the neighbor's yards. I just chop the leaves up.I have those huge pin oaks. Never seen an H with hydraulic cultivators in my area. Had the handles and springs. You knew you put a day in. That is why I loved the C.

That's how I put my orchards to sod the cheap way, disc with cultipacker behind, let it grow, and then just mow. Have nice grass in a year or two, weeds don't like the mower.

I seen an International 240 and a Farmall 240 pull once but super c beat them both! You were straightening the curves like Bo Duke in the Farmall M! Cultivators will look good on the H! Ford is for you! Princess Leia will look good with her own plow!! That's for sharing! Happy 4th!

Excellent video Geno :) funny part first ride lawn mower tractor that I bought was a 1968 Murray Thompson with 42 inches deck 2 blades with 11 hp Briggs & Stratton 5 gallon fuel tank , Manual transmission famous 3 in tree , Tractor tires on back also front new types had nice bright headlights and brake lights on back when brakes on ! My cousin Mork had before I did and he put slow moving triangle on 2 bolts up back too warn people when doing ditches or near driveway! It idea his area did because traffic on Emergency Detour Route lives on also my area too! But when I couldn't find parts for it anymore sold Lawn Mower Tractor for parts and took what needed for others ones like battery and Triangle sign ! On 3 Lawn Mower Tractor now and it Red Power Boom 💥 Troy Bilt (MTD) one 2021 doing well!

Tell you got a deal on that Ford. Looks good mows nice. Sometimes i wish i had my Ford but i bought a sc2400 cub cadet with 24 horse Yanmar 4x4 60 inch deck and when i get done my 5 acres looks like a big green carpet. The more you use it the better you'll like it! The 45 inch deck was just too small for 5 acres as you can guess. Just keep the earl changed and throw the grease to it and those old goodies will last! Congratulations again it brings back memories! 😂

my biggest mower is a craftsman gtv16, which looks to be the same physical size, but my deck is rotted, the middle spindle fell out while mowing with it. now i have a smaller toro, i prefer the bigger machine but i do like how the shifter on the toro is up by the steering wheel.

It looks like the Ford will cut grass. Might just be me, but I thought it looked like it was scalping a little on the right side. You have got to mount those cultivators on the H. My dad had a set of two row cultivators for his H and I spent MANY hours cultivating each summer. It had hydraulic lift, but gravity drop. You had to be on top of it or you'd plow out your your corn or beans. My dad would get hot if you plowed any out. He was a strict hillbilly that would pull off his belt. A very serious man. A good man. He meant what he said.

Early Ford riding lawn mowers had an aluminum deck.BIG mistake as the moisture from the grass ate into the aluminum. Also every one I have seen is repair welded like a jigsaw puzzle. Not Cool !😅 AL B.

I agree the grass height should be 3” or so. I have found weed control is easier. Unless you want to spend bid bucks on weed control. I do spend money on the cheapest fertilizer and now the grass is as thick for my liken.
