Can Flies Actually Fly in a Vacuum Chamber?

In this video I put flies in the vacuum chamber to see if they can fly in a low pressure environment. I also show you how I got the flies in the vacuum chamber by lowering their metabolism so that they don't move at all by putting them in the freezer. Then once in the closed chamber they warm up and come back to life. The less air there is in the vacuum chamber the higher wing speed they need to generate lift. Eventually you get to low enough pressure that the flies cannot lift off the ground! Then I talk about how we could lift off the ground if our atmosphere was as thick as Saturn's moon Titan.

With one of your only abilities removed you can only flail around, trying to escape the danger. You feel pathethic, being forced to dance, for another creatures... pleasure? You don't know. And you no longer want to know. Then you finally realize, death is inevitable. You don't know what magic you just witnessed, but you have already accepted your fate. As you slowly want to die, you feel the air flowing in again. Could this be the release of death? Are you close enough to feel the afterlife? No, you can still see your prison. It's the end of the torture. You still had more to do in life, this, is not your end. As you fly away, in confusion, happiness and fright, you realize, what you really are. An insect. You dont have power. But, why? Can't we change that?! YOU, are the driving force for change in your race. You can share your knowledge with others of your species! But you decide laying eggs on shit is better and you die the day after.
