Can Foreigners Get Married in China in 2023?

I've been thinking about getting wedding photos in China for such a long time!
I contacted Vanilla Studio a few weeks ago and then quickly realized a last minute booking for the end of May was perfect timing.
We are still investigating our options to get married. So far our research shows that Canadians haven't been able to get married in China since 2019. We will continue to research our options.

Yes foreigners can get married in HK but they need to submit application and complete the wedding ceremony in HK. It will take several days to get a marriage certificate.

First and foremost, congratulations and you surely will look stunning wearing the wedding dress, especially with your smile :) Back to my wedding photo shooting, it was very tired, and the boiling weather in summer was kind of torture. But when the photos came out, wow, I am totally satisfied, way beyond my expectation, I would say. So good luck and enjoy ❤

It's a shocker to learn that foreigners are not allowed to be married in china..., WHY??? Gee! So could you guys ask either the Canadian Embassy or Concealer in china to marry you?

We have reached out to the Canadian embassy. I'm curious if the rules will change over the course of the next year or two. No rush, so we will wait a bit longer to see what the best option will be.

@@LaLaLaLauran Hey guys, we did some poking around and found out that both the Americans and Canadians could be married in the Republic of China aka Taiwan, it’s the ligament and truth government of entire Xxxxx ( to a lot of Americans anyway), so if you guys would like to be married in China, this is the most authentic way to do it….. just something for you to consider.

@@LaLaLaLauran Plus, the government of the entire Cxxxxx --- the Republic of China will last due to its legitimacy and mandate, but not the other so called “ government “, it’s end is rapidly approaching.
