Now you are settled, it’s time to have some bonding relationships with the local families. Since you very much enjoyed the food, there is so much to offer during Chinese holidays. I really hope some inside the community group will connect with you guys, so you can experience the family food ❤❤❤

Jesus holy! Christmas tree in early November?! You two are keen, aren't ye? I guess that's why I like your vlogs, so random and so full of surprises. Very pleased that you two are staying in China in the foreseeable future. Love your channel.

Hi Lauren, if your interested in improving your sound & video quality can I recommend a "DJI Osomo Pocket 3." It has a lot of really great features for vlogging. For example the DJI Pocket 3 has a built in gimble for image stabilizing as well as subject tracking, which allows the gimble to turn the camera to follow any object or person of interest 360 degrees. It also has camera mounts like a Go Pro, but even better. So you could be riding a bike and focused on where you are going and the camera will stay focused on any subject you want it to follow. It also has a built in mic and a portable detachable mic. So if you wanted to film Alex doing something interesting but also wanted to hear what was saying. You can detach the portable mic and attach it to his shirt and film him from even far away distance and still hear what he was saying. The portable mic and camera can also sync in real time so when the camera turns on the mic will auto turn on at the same time. The best part is that the DJI pocket 3 is very small and can fit in your pocket. 😁

We are very glad to hear that you guys are enjoying your lives in China tremendously!!! You guys do look very happy together all the time! We dig both of your new bright / cosy apt. and beautiful Christmas tree too!!! Question: We have been trying to find some Cloisonne pieces for our Tudor but without too much success here in the States... . So we were wondering is there any possibility you guys would be able to give us the names of a couple reputable stores in China that we might be able to place orders from? THANKS A BUNDLE!

In China? Oh gee, I just use taobao. Maybe Etsy would be a good option, you can message the seller directly

It's pretty common in China to protect elevators with wooden planks. After most of the residents have renovated and moved in, they will remove the planks.

I can't see the texture of those pumpkin "buns", but to me they look like muffins that we have in the US, don't you guys have muffins in Canada? In Chinese "buns" usually mean those soft round bread, with fillings or not. Anyway I am glad you guys found what you have longed for.
@LaLaLaLauran8 ай бұрын
You are totally right! They are muffins, we've just affectionately called them 'pumkin buns' for years.
